Am I the only one that thinks Battle.net put out that update that scans your computer for their games just to find bot files? It's obvious they make a ton of money from banning botters since most will just buy new copies anyway, so do any of you think this update along with the 50% off deal going on might be a shady attempt at making a ton of cash? I'm sure they've already accepted they'll never get rid of cheaters, so it wouldn't be odd to think they appreciate us for keeping their profits running. It makes me think of how the US government assists in drug trafficking to confiscate the profits.

At first I was tripping as to why the software would want to "make changes to your pc" and figured it was mandatory so I went with it, luckily I had a brain to cancel it's pc scan right after it started...but I'm still curious if they nabbed any evidence.

Tinfoil was on sale at the grocery store today too. Coincidence? Hail Xenu / New World Order.

think its more that the sale numbers are now dropping and Blizz wanna squeeze every little drop from the cow :)

In some country's that scan is ilegal.... Like in mine fortunately....
If they ban me for on that scan base.... i think i can get their ass to court and win XD

Read the EULA, they can scan your comp for 3rd part programs

No matter what they write in the EULA, if it's illegal in the country, they can't do it.

Let's say I made a game, and wrote in the EULA that I was allowed to kill every user when I wanted. Some people dont read the EULA and might accept it. That does not give me the right to go kill them, becuase it's against the law.

btw its not iligal to have thay are iligal to use. you can just say it dossent work on you'r computer and thay have nothing ^^
