actually that is not entirely trueActually , 32bit only supports 3.25gb RAM
32 bit supports up to 64gb as long as OS supports it
linux and BSD support 64GB ram in 32 bit mode but they probably don't interest you since your boter
of windows systems several 32 bit OSes also support 64GB ram:
- Windows Server 2008 Enterprise or Datacenter 32bit
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise or Datacenter 32bit
- Windows Server 2003 Enterprise or Datacenter 32bit
- Windows Vista 32bit with patched kernel
- Windows 7 32bit with patched kernel
also this limits are per CPU so windows 2003 datacenter 32bit with 2CPU motherboard can support 128GB ram
note : even if your 32 bit OS has support for 64GB ram every application is limited to 2GB - 3GB and you can use all only if you run more than one application for example 32 applications using 2GB = 64GB
