[PAID] BasicBoxer [Simple Multiboxing]

Does this boxing program transmit a keypress to all toons? I have boxed for 4 years manually. My favorite boxing program has died and support doesnt answer my posts.

No, it doesn't. The approach of BasicBoxer is that you set it up to follow a leading character.
It then tries to help in killing mobs / looting and does basic quest pickup/turnin.

This is not made for manual multiboxing like you are used to. What it does in combat is dependent on the combat routine, not on what you do on the primary account.

It should do, but not all arenas are meshed for optimal navigating, so you should give the trial a go first and see how you get on.
 
hit 2100 in 2s as war + disc priest on Asia server, i am gearing my rshaman and I believe that dps+bot rshaman is the best choice with BasicBoxer in 2s.

You got to 2100 with BasicBoxer!? If that's the case then wow, good on you.
 
Three questions/problems


1. I'm playing a healer as main and running BasicBoxer on melee DPS toon. When I target a friendly to heal them the bot will sometimes stop attacking the target he was on and run back to me.

2. When I mount the bot doesn't mount, he'll just try to follow me on foot.

3. When he follows me on foot it sounds seem like the value I place in the follow distance makes a difference. I'm using 15 and he'll end up standing virtually right on top of me.


Attached log of the last two problems. The first problem I don't think is a bug per se.

1. It's designed to assist your current target. You'd be best off using an addon like healbot or grid to do the healing without having to target your melee toon - so you can keep targeting the enemy.

2. Can you post a log for this please? Definitely shouldn't be doing that. Have you got the copy leader mount/dismount setting enabled in the GUI?

3. Shouldn't be doing this either.

I need a log for #2 and #3. The log you've posted is pretty much blank. Start the bot and mount up on the lead toon. The slave should copy if the setting is enabled.
 
Sometimes with quests, especially ones from posters it doesn't pick the quests up. Not sure if this is a bug or a setup issue on my end.

I'm trying this with 5 man box, and premium CRs on each (Millz Demonic+Portal, Accessory Warr+Hunter, Alisha JadyMonk). All the log will tell you is

[BasicBoxer] Picking up quest...
[BasicBoxer] Found unit with quest pick up available...
[BasicBoxer] Picking up quest...
[BasicBoxer] Found unit with quest pick up available...

over and over on all 4 instances of HB I'm not controlling manually.

Cool idea though and is giving me something interesting to try since WoW is kind of boring atmo too me. Hope you keep developing this further

That not picking up behaviour will be specific to how the quest is offered up in the quest/gossip frame. I'd need to know which unit/board it is, what the quest was that it's trying to collect, and possibly screenshots of what the options are being shown to you.

What's actually happening in game? The line where it says "Picking up quest..." is where it's 'clicking' the accept button on the quest frame.
 
I'll describe it, I'm past lv15 now and just doing instances.

First one is the hogger quest pickup. Basically, it opens the quest and closes the window really fast over and over.
Another time is at the start of Westfall where you talk to the first NPC and you have to collect 4 clues. After you do that you get offered 2 quests. Same thing as above then happens. Maybe because there's 2 quests from 1 npc to choose from?

Hmm I think I'd need both a log file and possibly remote desktop with team viewer to re-produce that one. It shouldn't have any issues when the quest giver is offering more than 1 quest.
 
My five characters are level 72 now. As far as I can tell it happens rarely. A lot of instances have NPCs that give multiple quests and it has no problems picking them up.

Good to know. At least it's not a huge issue then.
 
so why doesnt combat work at all??? tried using singular and accessory warlock routine and same thing... alll he does is follow.. its quite annoying.

Can you try using Singular instead please and see if you have any better success?
 
Okay, @thebrewery and i found out some of the issue, if it messes up you need to close WoW and HB then restart both.. Singular works good, is there anyway to get Tuanha to work with it? havent messed with it yet but i would like it to work for dungeons.. anyone having issues with Tuanha's routines and this botbase?
