Barbarian frenzy

Question from a complete newb routine editor, Is there a way I could make my frenzy/smash build maintain 100% uptime on the frenzy buff as priority for the attack speed/maniac damage? I've done a bit of custom editing to the core for my build already and I've gotten the gist of it but I'm not sure how I would check for a duration on a buff instead of just the buff.
