Looking for Barbarian builds

I have tried to search for some good barb builds, but I have only been able to find a few. I am looking for builds good for High T bosses, rifts, or so on. I am running T5 ghom very fast using Fire HOTA build with avalanch, but cannot jump to 6 because of a few pieces of lacking gear. Thanks in advance

I was in your shoes 2weeks ago. My problem ended up being a lack of dmg vs elites, enough toughness to survive until he died, and paragon levels. Around paragon 400s i was able to move to T6 but im thinking T5 might be more efficient now....not sure.

Anyways, I recommend the following build: Yoink

Then, go into Trinity and change your barbarian's "Use potion %" down to 10 or 15%. Also, change your paragon points in the first tab from full str to full vitality if you die or get close to killing him but die (+/- 5% of his hp).

Essentially the way it works is that your dps takes a couple swings of Frenzy to get going since you don't have fury regen now from passives, but when you drop below 35% you become a tank of the gods for about 25% hp going from 35% -> 10%. If you have enough hp he can't take you from 10% to 0% in a single swing so you have to rely on DB not to fuck up on your potion usage when you're that low.

I haven't had an issue yet, and i can kill Ghom 1 second before COTA goes out (29 sec T6 Ghom Kills).

Hope this helps~~

Thank you very much. I am on the right track. I have experimented with many different things that you have said, but honestly that build you linked me seems odd. Does overpower do more damage than avalanch in the end? I find Superstition to be the ultimate fury generator for Ghom, not weapons master. Why do you have impunity on warcry instead of invigorate, which OWNS with relentless. I switched relentless for weapons master because I wasnt falling below 35% anymore. Hmm but you don't even use HOTA... interesting... Also, what mercenary are you using?

I have 46% more damage to elites.

Rift / bounty builds rather than Gorm builds plz !!

This is the build i run when I dont farm GHOM.

It req IK set tho, for the 3 barbs.

Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo III

With this spec you can not die coz barbs take 50% of dmg and i got Unit with hire so he takes 50% aswell. SO i belive i take 25% dmg. I clear torment 3 very fast and easy

getting around 1.8M GPH 800M-1B xp/h and 1.5-3.5 LPH. I know its quite low compared to Ghom but I keep ketting that error after 5-20 hours of ghom farming

Barb Lightning

I use this build for Ghom... I change only Earthquake for Sprint when I run rifts. I can kill Ghom t6 within 15 seconds. The trick is obviously lightning damage and elite damage out the wazoo.

When I run rifts I swap gear for IK set bonus. Use GearSwap to swap in my elite damage shit when facing elites. On Ghom I dont bother with gearswap or anything just stack elite damage like a boss. 77% elite damage, 93% lightning damage, 30% frenzy damage, 30% earthquake damage. 1.5 mil sheet damage, 4m toughness. I use unity with templar follower but probably don't need to anymore. I use RoRG instead of unity when not doing ghom so i can just use 3 pieces of IK. I used to run fire build, but even with that I didn't use a fury dump, it was slower.

Very interesting. Im going to study this and try to see if i can start doing some of it.

So your lightning builds have been a lot more damage than your fire? or better all around?

Trinity wont stop dumping rage before or after fight so its not working that well for me

EDIT: Nevermind I fixed it. It was mislabeled in tooltip

supersistion and make warcry reduce damage to eleets maybe all you need. Those 2 give you +60% resistance.
