Barb Guide for Sarkoth Runs .146

None of these I created and all the credit should be given to the people who made them, I am just compiling my settings for the bot for other barbs. This is working 100% afkable with the current build.


Kill Radius: 30
Loot Radius: 40 (11 pickup on my barb, so adjust accordingly)

The Build

I think I nailed the way Barbs have to kill sarkoth, avaraging at 350 gph with only 237 Gf. He pretty much sprints towards the cellar and clears it within a couple of seconds. Each run takes about 35 s.
Use a slow one-hander, so earthquake hits like a truck. Using a 2-hander works even better dps-wise but you'll miss out on some gold find. On the AH the gold find pieces with only strength aren't very expensive. Or I was lucky. The gear has cost about 1,5 million total. Downside of this cheap gear is low HP but that doesn't matter I hardly get hit.

HP: 16k
Dps: 13500, slow weapon and +critdamage

1: Get rage to run, using War Cry + Charge rune. You need this rage for sprint. Dont waste it on Battle rage
2: Run fast with sprint + gangway to knock back any mob who tries to bother you. This is funny as hell!
3: Leap + death from above to stun them in place for the earthquake
4: Earthquake + mountain's call. This kills them 90% of the time. (2000% weapon damage )
5: Ground stomp + wrenching smash pulls them to the center of earthquake and stuns them some more.
6: Cleave + gathering storm. Will slow down and kill Sarkoth (in case he somehow survives the earthquake...)

Passives: Weapons master, Ruthless, Tough as nails (needed the defence since my HP is low)

Also:
Using the awesome Mammon all-in-one routine. I guess the new "default" one will use these skills nicely as well.
Sarkoth profile modified by botron works best for me. The rest is nicely explained by Zoinx (thanks!)
And offcourse the Enchantress, transforming the mobs into chickens in case the cellar is not there and the demonbuddy wants to teleport back to town early.

After testing this profile as well I liked it alot, except for the fact after it goes to town, on the next game it goes right instead of left getting the broken checkpoint and it afk'd last night for like 4 hours there

so tossing this out there. Mammon is no longer supported as it was merged with Belphegor. So the most update combat routines are downloaded when you updated DB.

Also, if you use unstucker make sure you use the one to TP to town first as auto OK will cancel leaving the game.

I havent had a death on mine, but that also might be due to Icool, and the fact at >80% life it will turn on attacks, earthquake and everything dies.

thanks for the heads up, I havent had it get stuck ever, so that might be why it hasnt had a problem. I have seen when an attack comes in when it tries to tele on no cellar that it is able to leave game without the cancel hitting the timer.

As for the combat routines, next time I load I will run it with Belphegor, and see if the combat routine helps get more GPH atm it runs great with mammon. As well thank you for the heads up.​

The video attacked up top shows how he had his "placed" I dont think it matters much because the bot will use the skills accordingly, later on I can take a SS of it and up it if u really thing its needed.

As for gear its 285% gf, 500~ all res, 30k hp, 10k dps, 6k armor. Pretty medicore spent like 250k on ah for all the gear. ( I put in gf(20) all res (vit) and bought up the best/cheapest deals I could find. Some of which had MF as well I think I am at ~85% mf

I like this profile because he skips looting the dead soldier in the beginning of the run and he automatically uses earthquake as soon as it detects no cellar, that way you don't get killed or interrupted while teleporting.

Averaging - 30 second runs, 8 to 10 seconds without cellars
350k GPH - 210% Gold Find w/ 12 yard gold pickup
10k DPS - 35k Life (didn't spend a whole lot on equipment)

Stats: ~250 Resis, 23k DPS, 39k Health, 7100 Armor, 185GF, 125MF

Getting around 280-310k per hour judging how well the luck of the draw is with cellars.

I'm trying to find a rune that is going to speed it up more. (I would be getting rid of Tough As Nails) Any thoughts?

Updated: I was just getting bad draws with cellars. I'm consistently getting 320-360k Per hour now
