Hi i just got banned today i used BG bot


Account Name: WOW1
Type of Violation: PvP Arena/Battleground Exploitation
Details of Incident: Exploitation of PvP Battlegrounds and the honor system
Consequences for Account: Account suspended for 3 hours

This account has recently been identified as being involved in actions deemed inappropriate for World of Warcraft.

* Abuse of game mechanics or "bugs".

is Honorbuddy safe?

BG botting is always risky. since there are many players around. It's enough for your bot to get stuck or just look generally suspicious and people will flag you instantly.

If you bot a class that can heal, its generally best to bot healing in PvP. People tend to not report healers as much just because you will almost always be on the top of the leaderboard for heals (mainly form healing yourself).

If they truly had proof that you were botting then you would not have just received a simple 3 hour suspension, you would have lost the account altogether with limited to no chance of recovery. As was said, pvp is probably the hardest to bot because there are so many folks around and so many of them take it so seriously. hell, when I pvp on occasion if my toon doesn’t move for a min or two someone yells out "what the hell is that noob doing?" you can tell the other players are paying attention...

its only 3 hr suspension. They seem to take pvp botting less seriously than anything related to in game gold. I guess they view the impact as less? I think this happens if your character gets reported AFK too many times and gets the deserter buff too often.

I would never bot BG's.. I went afk to go take a leak before a round started and /follow'ed a rogue, 1 minute into the round I come back and he says "Hey guys someone report <mycharacter>, he's a follow bot"
