banned till fri real question is demonbuddy detected ?

This thread is so stupid and full of made up bullshit that it made Mario27 post in it. That's a stupidity perk on itself.

Why do you say that? Realize Demonbuddy has to detect Diablo and it works the other way too. I could detect Demonbuddy in 3 lines of code. Very easy code.

The question is do they bother to detect it. Who knows. You can just use heuristics to detect bots.

a 24-48 hours session WILL flag your account.

I would just like to add that I botted nearly 24/7 from 3-4+ weeks after RoS release, up until about 1-2 weeks prior to the bans hitting. I am over Paragon 700, I have multiple 70s best geared etc etc. Over 8bil gold collected with only 180k blood shards and 1600 hours on WD, 900 hours on wizard, 550 hours DH, 400 hours barb, 80 hours crusader, 70 hours monk. I stopped botting after reaching 500 x4 keys because I had basically got all the gear in game I needed, and I had all the keys I felt I needed and that at that point botting was nothing more then a risk to me and something to monitor. However I had zero idea the patch was coming, I think it was just pure luck I had not ran demonbuddy in the 5-6 days prior leading up to the ban wave pure and simple

This is the thing I wonder... do you really think they filter only the bots that are really active at the time they want to send the bans out?

I think they find everyone, but they don't ban everyone. Either they have some criteria that discourages them to ban your account, or it's just random bans. Maybe they just ban 5% or something and the ones that are banned are unlucky.

I think if they banned everyone they could, then their detection is really quite bad because I think they missed more than they caught.

I don't think they are that stupid though. I think it's just random token ban waves to show they are doing something. I think quite possibly banning absolutely everyone might be worse than just banning a small percentage.
 
all my bots have been active when there have been a waveban....but last waveban (11/7-2014) all my bots got banned....this time, all my bots survived.

Sounds random to me. I think they don't most. It would probably be very bad for them to ban everyone actually.

I wasn't banned, but I fit the profile of many of these people. I can't imagine what could be all that different between them and me. Just sounds random to me, unless they have yet to get to me.

When the new patch came out the bot did a whole heap of stupid stuff. IE with cains book. With kadala and armour plugin. You have to watch it and stop it from doing stupid stuff i guess. And dont run 24/7

Why don't you show us these 3 lines of code ? because your full of it.
 
Still up here, been up since season almost 24/7.
and pre-patch 2.1 I had my bot running different profiles for like 12 - 15 weeks

the only way for blizzard to probably detect that you are botting are "IF" you run it it for weeks without stopping it. No human bodys cant sit up straight doing this for a week if you do not have any kind of rare diagnoses. I've run my bot for 24 hours now nonstop and seems to be running fine still.

And the guy that was complaining that the one that said demon buddy was undetectable, when you first bot in the first place, you are BOUND to get banned, because you are breaking the ToS from blizzard. So you cant really blame it on the coder or the one that made demon buddy at all.

When you first entered diablo you agreed to the terms of service of running the game clean, wich you arent. So you only have yourself to blame,

If you are scared to get banned, well then don't bot. It's that simple!

I don't care if i get banned, if i do get banned well so be it, i can just buy another account.

orly? Here I was thinking humans can sit up straight for weeks on end playing Diablo, my bad, thanks for clearing that up.
 
What goes around comes around folks.... This game is not worth the grind at all.. In fact I refuse to grind any game anymore its just stupid if it is a grind to play

I agree, Blizz have made this game ridiculously stupid. Only way to get anywhere if playing legit, is to give u family, social life and cut out work.....and even so, few months later...new patch comes and all your effort is for nothing.
 
Honestly, I bot at work all day. I just have ROS running in a VMWare image that sits there, and does it's thing, and set YAR to quit every 5 rifts or so so that I can gamble my shards, and not get smacked with the ban stick. Greed, hubris, and random bad luck get you banned, not the bot. Botting allows me to work, and enjoy my game when I get done for a couple of hours. If I get banned, I just cough up for another copy, and keep going. I wouldn't have 3 T6/ Grift 31 toons were it not for the bot, nor would I be paragon ~480 (I botted from 200 or so on up). I happily pay my few bucks a month, give credit to the people here for their hard work that let me enjoy a game while running a business.
 
^ Botting returns your life to you... its funny how over the past few months i botted my way very close to the top of the ladder... yet i dont really care if i get banned...

You should quit your job, it is a daily grind for $...........I DONT PLAY GRIND GAMES........Comes to Grindy game bot forum and posts
 
Hilarious that people would bitch and complain about Diablo being a crap game and getting banned. If you don't want to get banned, take a 1-3 hour break a day from botting. So virtually, if you were playing legit, this would be your time to take a dump, beat off, maybe eat or sleep... Your log record for Blizzard might look somewhat normal. The world's top paragon people take 6-8 hour breaks from Diablo everyday. If you don't want to risk it, then make it 6-8 hour botting breaks.
