I'm not sure how long you guys have been around the PoE botting scene, but all these tests on new accounts or accounts that don't have level 25 characters and were not already active at the start of the league are pointless. You're welcome to keep making ban reports though, but you need to understand the different types of systems GGG has built up over the years in fighting botters, and everyone trying tests like these are running into previous bot detection systems that are totally unrelated to whatever the banwave was triggered by.
As I've written about year in and year out whenever there's an increase in bans and people think it's something specific to EB, GGG is a lot more clever than people understand. Right now, almost everyone is missing the bigger picture when it comes to figuring out the banwave cause. GGG has setup a very elaborate maze of traps over the years, and people are running through them all trying to get back to where we last were, and then failing, and jumping to the wrong conclusions because they don't really understand what GGG has done all this time.
It doesn't affect me, because I know how things work, I've been around a while, and I have a good idea of how GGG works. So, I'm not going to be thrown off by anything people report, because I have more of an understanding of what's expected and not when things like this happen. However, that also means my replies to people aren't what they want to hear or might sound like I don't care, but in reality, it's just a matter of there being more to things than most people understand that I can't really talk about.
The fact of the targeted banwave cannot be denied though, but I'm not even commenting about that yet until I finish talking with Bossland, so I can't really give more info on my thoughts about it and our future actions.
However, people think they should be able to make a new account, start botting right away, and get away with it, but that's
never been the case in this game for literally like 5 years whenever there's been an increase in bans. Wilson has specifically talked multiple times over many years about how much better they have gotten on that aspect and how they know botters come crawling back, so they keep banning them over and over until they finally give up.
Sometimes people can't get by it and do give up, but the ones that stuck with it over the years and found something that worked for them very well, had a lot of success, but of course they can't talk about or share what they did in this type of environment. Right now is not the time to be botting though, so even if you did manage to get by all the previous traps in place, you still run the high risk of tripping whatever system was used for the banwave again, since there's been no big EB changes released.
If you guys are running these tests to just help us, thanks, but they won't help, so you don't have to waste your ips/accs. If you're doing it in hopes of just getting by and profiting big, then good luck, but the odds are highly stacked against you now more than ever!
