Botting is risky no matter what. I've botted on one account virtually 24/7 for months without a tiny hiccup. Botted on another account perhaps 4 to 6 hours a day and got banned shortly after trading gold with a friend. I don't know if that was a reason for the ban but on the 24/7 I've never traded anything and only ever put a few items on AH. It's now my main account and I'm done with the botting on it for a while.

Remember..... If you bot for long enough you're definitely going to get caught. It's inevitable. You bot at your own risk, always.

As Mitch said, there's no guarantee that you're going to be safe when it comes to botting. You take the risk and you know the consequences.
