4 accounts banned, under same IP, all different first/lastname. all banned same time. using vashjir, no whispers.

i botted 16hours day, slepts 8hours.

my bankalt did not get banned under same IP.

I think my IP is blacklisted, fourth ban this year in banwave gona have to resort to vpn now.

<Exploitative gold selling>

All four got the above message: I never even sold gold, i only traded with guildbank.

They always do this, i filed a 'appeal'. Then they will counter it tomorow with a <BOTTING> email.

Why do they always do first:
<exploitatitve gold selling> when they know i never sold gold

then they counter with

<Botting> email

Why dont they just go straight to the point, i think they just take a guess.

I got 3 of the 4 unbanned three hours later.

I then called customer service as to why they didn't unban the fourth. After 10minutes of me complaining to them that they had no proof that my toon sold gold, which they didnt because my toon never did. Eventually the guy said:

CustomerService: "Ok I can tell you this then ... the decision was based on the IP address it was on, the IP in question has had previous bans and it played on the decision"

So I argued back:: "So you guys can ban an account even though it is not at fault whatsover, based solely on a blacklisted IP?"

CustomerService: "I can't comment on any of that or how they came to their final decision"

I hanged up.

So basically, he spilled the beans that my IP is blacklisted somehow. Cause it makes no sense why they would ban a fresh account less than two weeks old , who never traded with anyone yet the email states <Gold Selling>, and they stood firm with somehow i sold gold when this toon was just a bot account and never had more than 5gold on him for repairs.

Anyone suggest a good VPN ?

I've used StrongVPN, and think it's quite good. CyberGhost VPN is apparently good, but I haven't tried it. You can also connect to WoW through WTFast and WoWTunnels (they also give you a different IP for WoW).

isn't wowtunnels just proxy, isn't that a fake version of VPN ? wouldn't warden be able to detect your real IP address if you used wowtunnels (aka proxies).

While VPN / PPTP is a real spoof IP

Or am i wrong?

chances are they can look up connections and logins from IP's if your using a public service then chances are your not the only one using it, and who knows how many people DID actually sell gold out of there.

Oh it gets better. They have banned some of my accounts just for having a lot of gold. No goldselling, no botting. Just a level 1 lvl1 toon on 6 servers, each with a shitload of gold, altogether ~200mio on a vanilla account in the first month. I had talked to a laywer if I would've had the cash back then, but unfortunately I didn't. This happened twice actually, but only once did my monthly pay disappear. Haven't had any bans since then on any of my 21 accounts. *knock on wood*. I know another person though who got dozens of accounts banned, even after a router change.

Sorry but having 200mil across level 1 characters is just waiting for it to get sold, so not really suprised they banned those.

I wasn't expecting pity lol. And ofc I never did that again either afterwards. Still - I did not violate the agreements and they still got me banned. Well what I did wrong was receive items that are all property of blizzard lol. But that is very questionable legally (wasnt the reason they gave for the ban anyway) and they do claim that there is a gradual increase in severity of actions taken against users before issuing an ultimate ban unless your violations were very grave.

Now I'm just saying they clearly broke the agreement on that one and any lawyer could've reversed this in notime with a single letter. There was no ground for the actions they took.
