Where does it say 72 hours?

If its in the battle.net forum (you are not able to post since you are banned) then you will see this timer getting reset when it reach 0....I know

yeah, I had my hopes up to but I saw that timer reset 3 times (and to this date, it still resets)

look in your bnet account, for me it's temporary in forums, but permanent in bnet account

On my account status, it just shows 'BANNED' but not 'permanent ban' or 'indefinite suspension'. Does just 'banned' constitute it being permanent? Seems for others it actually says 'permanent ban' or along those lines on their bnet account page.
