that's rough. first known instance of a non 24/7 getting banned. thanks for posting

i have some questions and i hope you can oblige me,

1.) Were you in a clan? If so was it a public one with players you did not know personally?
2.) Did you have any players on your friend list that you did not know on a personal level
3.) Did you launch diablo from the battle.net app?
4.) Did you run instaleave on any of the profiles?

That's all i can think of for now. Thanks in advance if you do find the time to answer them

How long was the Account online on a Day? Cause you said, that you uses the bot only while sleep. So i think you played by yourself over the day.

4-6 hours a day is hard to believe being banned for that, you must have triggered some flag.

Hi, me and a couple friends recently started botting single accounts, and we did it for that very reason, to sleep while the bot ran and play the game when we were awake. Now i just got home and cant get into my account, checking with all my friends, most of them say they can log in. How did i get flagged??/

As far as we can tell, blizzard barely let on that 42002 was their method of flagging accounts. If you have encountered that error, odds are you're under the microscope right now.

Let me remind you that if you're locked out of your account, it is not a ban. Ban's are handed out formally with an email

it doesnt make sense that he would get flagged for that play pattern when THOUSANDS of players are 24/7 @ 60 games/hr for 3 weeks+

i agree, i run my bot 24/7 for the last 4 weeks now like only time i stop it is for 5 min every morning i wake up for a restart of computer then it goes nonstop until next day. its all luck i guess, i hope i dont get banned and if i do i wouldnt even care that much at all as the game is just straight up horseshit with no signs of improvement.

Is that possible to appeal the ban in diablo? I had a success to appeal in wow after a ban for botting.

I wonder if you get banned can you trade your lifetime demonbuddy for like a lifetime exilebuddy

It seems like the ones getting banned are the ones running profiles that create shitloads of games per hour. I see in the threads people are all "75 GPH!!!" like that's a good thing.

I lost 9 accounts that all ran at the most 4 games an hour, your theory is bunk.

theres so few bans it has to be jealous friends/clan/people that individually reported people who then got individually looked into by bliz and individually banned

i hope...

i only started botting a few weeks ago and had one of my friends ask me if i was botting. So i decided to be paranoid, tinfoil and anti social, so i left my guild and deleted all my friends.

i now bot 24/7 and will become sociable again once i feel ive geared up my chars enuf to bot more inconspicuously.
