Ban

got banned as well on my main. guess that teaches me a lesson, bye HB, forever and ever :]
 
Also got 6 month ban. Never used the bot for anything other than rotation as I am disabled and don't have full function of my hands. T4 para with severe nerve damage to wrists and arms. Only just managed to get over 100k gold since start of legion, never abused the economy. Oh well, I can't play the game without rotation help otherwise I would be useless and it's not for the lack of trying.

you can use autohotkey you pres 1 button and it uses all abilties that you add to the rotation you can do it also with razer synapse if you have razer naga
 
Been botting on the same account since Glider was the only option. They finally got me! Hell of a streak if you ask me...

Damn, that's a good one. I got about 4 years on these two accounts but I got greedy the last few weeks.

well this is a scheduled banwave, not a detection event. you don't expect anything from the tripwire, all that happened today was that blizz banned all accounts and sent emails at exactly 8pm EST. the accounts were flagged long before.

Now what i'd expect from bosslands is to MANUALLY shut down the bot by disabling the tripwire. however since they don't have a clue what to do or change with the HB client, I suppose why bother.

My account that I leveled during shortly after Legion launched was botted on and off up through ~3 patches ago (including the small ones), and was also used for farming. The account that did get banned ONLY started within the last few patches, and I never got around to farming with it; it did about ~2 hours of entirely supervised quest leveling total. There wasn't enough time put into that account for a report to happen and a GM to investigate, and even if they had, they wouldn't have seen anything because I was actively there, typing on that account to friends and ensuring that it never got stuck.

I would say it's both a detection and a scheduled banwave, and not from all that long ago. The account that got banned hadn't been played for almost a year before Legion was launched, and hadn't been touched by Honorbuddy until very recently... And like I said, the other account with vastly more botting time over a longer period (except very recently) is still very much open.

you misunderstood what i was saying

this is 100% a "detection event". the detection happened sometime over the past 4 weeks, and continued right till yesterday. All detected account were flagged, and banned tonight at the same moment, that is a "scheduled banwave". Tripwire caught none of that cause the detection wasnt thru changes to the warden. I fact I can't remember the last time Blizz used the Warden vs HB or other bots with tripwires.

Now a few times in past years the Tripwire actually DID trip and everyone went offline. It detected some change in client or warden. but that was not connected to any banwaves, certainly not the 4 big ones we've been having every 6 months

So i was saying we would not expect the tripwire to go off tonite. there is nothing to detect, everyone was already flagged days or weeks ago
