Ban rate for farming Skyshard and gold?

Would I get banned if im only farming Skyshard and gold for myself(not tring to sell them)? About 10k per day.
If yes, would it be 72 hours ban or permanent?

I farmed back in 5.0.5. The drop rate was low, took me 1 week of farming @ 16 hours a day to get the Shards, no idea how people manage to sell for 10k, but in said week I made 110k just from selling the crap I looted as well as the shards.

You will most likely be banned permanently for botting now a days, especially for farming. BUT, that being said, I have yet to be banned for using my own profiles that I made, or modifying existing ones so that there doesn't appear to be a pull "pattern" making myself look less like a bot. Also, don't bot for excessive amounts of time, or use a relogger to bot for a couple hours here and there over the whole day, and on more than 1 toon also helps throw off suspicions of botting. Basically, be smart about it, don't click START and walk away for a couple of days.

grinding is liek russian roulette atm, some accounts r grinding 24/7 and stay on, others some got banned within hours. depends on players reports probably

In my experience the first offense should be a 72 hour suspension for botting, second time it will be a perma ban. You could be perma banned straight away though.

i've had 2 accounts 72 hour banned, and both were from farming herbs/ores and less amount of time botting those than i am currently botting skyshards. I've been botting roughly 8 hours each night when i got o bed and knock on wood, have yet to get a ban. I believe it's because blizzard knows there's people out there who do nothing but farm these, and there's a set path they take to increase kph(kills per hour) so i think it may be harder to ban this kind of bot, rather than a node farming/bg bot.
