Ban Qustion

So i was wondering how blizzard handles bans to perma bans, i remember seeing a pyramid graph explaining the details but its not very clear.

Lets just say you get a 24hr ban for spamming trade
then you get a 72hr ban for having an inappropriate guild tag.

will the next course of action be a perma ban for any offense?
whether its botting or that your ruining the games economy bullshit.
