Ban Expires June 17? (It Doesn't)

Logged into the wrong account on the D3 forums today, one of my accounts caught up in the banwave a few months back, went to post something and it said that my account had been banned and to click for more info. I was a little freaked out cause I thought I'd logged into my main, clean account, so I clicked it. I realized that I'd actually logged into one I knew was banned, so I was relieved to say the least. Anyway I read the little note about the ban, and it said it was a temporary suspension which expires tomorrow afternoon?

I assume this can't actually be the case, and it's just a weird sort of message and will update to a new 'expiry' once that one is up or something similar.

Anyone else got the same message or know what the hell it means?

Maybe it was just a few month suspension?

Honestly if it really does get unbanned my faith in Blizzard is pretty much going to dissolve, because if it does I certainly was not the only one caught in that banwave who'd be in the same situation. So as much as it'd be cool for me if it really does expire, I'd probably be a little happier for it to just be a weird sort of bug.

this gets brought up every time people get banned. your account is permanently banned despite what the forums say.

This was my expectation (hence title). Was just curious if anyone had an explanation, your tone seems a little harsh.

It said your account is banned..but i bet this msg concern your forum account. The forum account and the game one..are 2 different things. Most probably you get banned by some reason in the forum..and the restriction will expire soon. Happen to me many times..in the past.
If you have no idea why your forum account is banned..well..there might be some connection between your game and forum account after all. As it was said..we will see tomorrow .

pretty much all you need is here. A game ban will result in a forum ban that constantly loops over and over (basically a forever ban unless you attach a new account).

This is exactly what I thought, just thought the looping forum ban was a bit curious. Wonder why it does that.
