Hello all,

I'm rather new to the community and have been using both HB and GB on a semi-regular basis with not a lot of problems yet. One thing that I do not understand however is when I am setting up a profile to be ran on GB, how do I load up the "Bad Nodes" as well?

When I log into my GB (1.7.9) and go to the Path tab, I refresh my path list and select the Profile Path Name I want to use. Once selected, I click "Load Path" and GB is good to go on that path. However, when I am farming ore/herbs, there is usually a "bad nodes".xml that goes along with the path. How do I load the "Bad Nodes" as well? I've searched the forums and haven't found a solution yet.

It just needs to be in your GB directory and it gets loaded.

Along this same topic: I have my badnodes file in my GB directory, and even though I have added a node to be avoided it still tries to pick the herb. It's surrounded by a group of mobs and GB isn't that great at handling multiple mobs. Is there something i'm missing in getting this node to be ignored?

The following is what I added to the file.

<bad_location><name>Whiptail</name><waypoint>-10436.28 -1300.798 43.56723</waypoint><comment>To many critters: 2/7/2011 11:58:12 PM </comment></bad_location>

and it is within the badnodes tags.

You should post your Debug.html file that gets made after you are done farming, at least the first 100 or so lines, this is where it'll show what nodes are being blacklisted, and if there are any errors in the BadNodes.xml file.
I've had to fix mine multiple times, although I have no clue why, it just seems after some time parts go missing, like a </waypoint> will disappear or something.

If it doesnt show a list like what's in this one, where it is blacklisting nodes, then something is wrong, and you'll need to go into the Badnodes.xml and correct these errors. If there are any it'll list what line it is having the error on in the Debug.html file, and you can easily find it in badnodes.xml. I'd suggest using either Notepad++ or Notepad2 to edit it, as it'll make it all pretty and easy to find things.
View attachment debug.txt <That's the file, should look somewhat similar, if not please post a full log, from when you login, choose your path, press start, wait like 10 seconds, hit stop. Then open up Debug.html, copy paste all into Notepad and make into .txt file. Upload as attachment here so I can help.
