Bad Mod. The community needs support!

Worst approach I have ever seen. And claims like"90% of the communty thinks" wont get you any where. If YOUR case is so weak that you feel the need to claim support from a guesttimate of 90%, well then nough said really. Whatever your case was, giving you any pity or pure support will be harder after this. It's like me calling you a failure at life without giving any examples. Just like you did with Tony. Saying he does a poor job is.. well.. not very constructive

You did manage to get some support tho. From a #(%?/ that reports the rest of us for botting. Thanks Jparker, you will recive the numbnut award of the year for that one.

I'm curious, in your purchase of HB/GB was it agreed that you would have some forum rights or even the right to post? The forums are nothing more than a place for community to share. You have no rights here. They offer support by other avenues. You are bitching about something given to you as a gift, nothing more. You don't like the gift or the way in which thy give it, fine, leave.

Not trying to talk out of line, but i believe w00t is blaming Tony for enforcing them in a manner that is inconsistent.

The rules clearly state that if a dev has chosen not to share his work, leave him in peace and don't make endless threads about it. W00t made a thread describing me and the dev in question as greedy dicks. What exactly would you like Tony to do?

We do however have rights to a working bot, which currently only 'barely' works.

Wasn't going to comment on any of this, as am split down the middle, I know excatlly where w00t is coming from, but I also know the pressures of being a full time mod on forums, let alone most of the times the only one. Yes it can take one bad day, and alot of shit can happen, but at the same time a mods move is final, even if that move was the wrong one, a mod still has to stand by his decision otherwise they would get walked all over by everyone else aswell. And all these people that say Tony is just a mod and has nothing to do with HB, STFU retards, Tony is basiclly the spokes person for HB (all be it in current situation for some people that could be seen as a negitive thing ). He has a job to do, and he has rules to do it by. And w00t, you know as much as I do, we don't need this forum ;) Most of us (people that actually give a shit, and are fed up releasing shit or helping people) won't bother with this forum anymore for the simple fact THIS COMMUNITY HAS GONE DOWN HILL, and it has been for a very long time now, and the mods/admin couldn't care less aslong as there still getting paid.

What I think needs to be done here, is mods and admin need to start thinking twice about what there doing. THE COMMUNITY MAKE YOUR BOT WHAT IT IS. Honestly, where would this bot be now without the CC / Profile / Plugin devs? Nowhere, would still be stuck in the pre hb2 beta days. The community are the ones that have pushed this bot forward, pushed it passed what its able to do, therefore leading Core devs to follow along them lines and add better support for them. (completly lost chain of thought cos Top Gears on, so leaving it there)
 
Hawker, there you go again. Tony was not enforcing any rules. Unless he is enforcing rules he makes up ashe goes that he writes down on a little pad of paper and not listed on the forums. Yes I am pissed about how things went town yesterday, but only because it proves of how bad a mod Tony is. I made a thread asking why we cant have a arch plugin, he never gave a single valid reason except to ban anyone who agreed with me. Funny how he said its ok to request Arch plugins now, and he is still deleting threads.



Love how I get banned for "Insighting a riot" when my first post asked people to not even reply.
 
Guess I will add my two cents... Tony is great.. never had a problem with him personally, and never had a problem with any action that he has done. I personally won't be signing your petition as I believe you have no valid complaint.

Simple put, if you don't like the forum rules, then leave.. Second if you think every single person is gonna be treated the same, likey they would, if the mod saw ever post. But lets be relistic, between all the posts , pm's etc.. Stuff does get missed...
 
Attacking a dedicated and official member of this community is about the dumbest thing you can do around here. Tony is online day in and day out answering question after question and providing support to thousands of HB/GB customers. If you choose to flout the forum rules the appropriate action will be taken.
 
Agree with others this is totally the wrong approach to this. If you have a problem with a moderator take it up with Bossland or another moderator privately and present your evidence in a calm and civil manner.

Then expect no more than an acknowledgement that they've received your information. This is normal and the way it should happen. You are not part of management or moderators, and you are not entitled to know anything about the internal affairs of the management or moderators. At this point you've done everything you can do to resolve the issue. Now you need to make a choice either to stick around and participate in the community like a civil person or leave. Regardless if Bossland or any of the other moderators take action will depend entirely on whether you presented a valid and supported argument that requires some type of action or they won't. It may be something as simple as telling Tony to knock it off and be nicer, but again you won't know what the outcome is because you aren't entitled to know.

You might be the squeeky wheel that caused someone to look into it further, but that in no way entitles you to anything else. If you don't like the community then you have to decide yourself if you want to deal with it and be a part of the community or leave it. Bossland and the others have shown numerous times that they have no interest in trying to keep people in the community who have no desire to be a part of it.
