Avast with Archebuddy

I added a rule to Avast to allow all connections through my firewall yet Avast keeps removing the updater from my ArcheBuddy folder am I missing something? I would like to use the updater and keep Avast active could someone please point out what I may be doing wrong?

Kill avast -_-.
Try to add updater.exe\site\folders\etc in white list. Or delete avast + reboot PC

Agreed. I used to love Avast, and then they got anal about programs. It tried to quarantine all of my C++ programs I'd wrote for a college class about a year ago.

Malwarebytes seems to be the way to go nowadays. But yeah, add it to the exceptions/dispute it. It's not a virus.
