AV Weekend

I'm waiting atm 30-40mins on EU servers currently lvl80-85..
What are your que times..
this is really taking the mic I was hoping for 4min ques at the most :(
 
Tihi, I have just started and my que time is 2-4 min and so far I have won 3 of 4 BG's :)
Maybe it's just me but I have a feeling that the average horde player is more active in pvp.

Oh my god, I found the 'problem' and it have been sitting behind the keyboard all the time... This is so embarrassing I simply refuse to tell you what the probme was :P

I use PVP bot as the BG bot suggests might be buggy for AV, on the other hand AV is the perfect (if that exists) Battleground to afk as there is so much going on and so many players that it will be difficult to detect you as a bot. As opposed to say AB PVP bot where the behaviour is always the same. I would not recomend botting for over 12 hours to anybody but I understand how addictive it can be. My latest toon has done 5 levels since the AV weekend started rofl and this is in the seventies bracket ... I love Honorbuddy NFW I'd do that by hand anymore :)
 
I have been AV botting for 30+ hours ATM with BG bot. Got my hunter fully pvp geared + 2 pvp mounts. Started doing my paladin now :). Only one time it randomly qued for AB instead of AV. I know I'm at high risk for a ban, but damn the honor is too good to pass up! Too addicting!

I'm like one of those people at the casino, when you win money- don't walk away with winnings. Instead keep playing because of greed and lose it all lol.

I love the AV pathing.. It goes to galv then suicide runs into oncoming 30+ alliance.. lol /facepalm.
 
I love how you get stuck on the stupid cannon near the first bunker;

But other then that, the running into horde and suiciding is kinda lol - but on the plus side - the xp from winning has been great this weeknd and the honor has helped me max out justice points and honor ready for 85;

The bot this weekend in mix mode has done the following for me;

83-85
81-85
81-85
76-83
66-71

Theres still rest of today but ofc im at work now - so i will hopefully get a couple of hours tonight also;
 
It runs into the house after respawning at stoneheart graveyard, unsticks iself quite fast though, but its still suspicious since it does it every time unless theres a horde nearby. This is very serious because its the gy bots seem to die the most at.

The pathing just needs reworking imo - id gladly do it - if i knew how to :/

Other then that, the suiciding is just lol and doesn't look to much like a bot unless your using a druid and sometimes a preist;

The druid just looks fucking retarded and hardly does anything, and the priest just runs around and stands there half the time and doesnt release if it dies - i have to reload the profile and so on about 50 times just to get it to attempt to work correctly and every now and again it ends up in isle of conquest some how even though AV is selected.

I think the question is if you were watching at the time and after doing so believe you may be risking a ban in doing so...

There is undoubtedly a lot of negative comments in this thread and I would say justifiably so. They all seem to have valid concerns and feel their accounts are at risk.

In addition to the bots own BG logic, there are very few none-healer CC's that work well.

We all appreciate the efforts that go into this bot. I know I certainly do. I can't help but feel though that PvP is often a very risky business and still needs further TLC.

I'm going to avoid AV and stick to EotS and AB, which are actually running really well with the new balance druid PvP CC. It's a shame horde smashes Alliance, so the honor takes a long time to come by :)
 
Wow just did a av manually, surprised how many botters there are lol. I see so many people stuck and trying to run up mountains, etc. Nobody seems to care... Which is a good thing. I spotted 5+ in a av, watched a dk stuck on a wood fence trying remount/ go around it over and over again the whole av, nobody said anything.

I've been botting 20 hours a day, hunter and ret Pali fully pvp geared from scratch :). Hoping I can finish holy set before holiday is over.

I agree av BG bot is mad buggy, but whatever. Pathing is not too great. Anyways it still gets me tons of honor.

Atleast BG Bot looks better then other bot programs out there. I just suicide a lot, but thats fine. Normally I would target healers and distract them so thats a good thing. No one said anythign about me yet.
 
I use Mixed Party and set it to a Quest Profile & BG Bot - While outside of BG it goes around doing quests getting constant xp with a little bit of babysitting required. Inside of AV it would just farm farm, rinse and repeat. I made it from level 66-75 in a weekend (I don't really know if that is slow or fast, I thought it was fast) and I also acquired brutal gear which gives me a little bit of a boost through WOTLK until I gear myself up proper.
 
AV is the only place I feel ultra safe botting even when the bot is bad because half of AV is full of bots and Blizz always reply to tickets telling people to use the AFK tool in a BG. Look at all the bot QQ on Blizz forums and most of them are people complaining that Blizz does nothing about BG bots and its true.

All I want from a bot is to get decent damage and heal numbers so it doesnt look like I have been doing nothing in a BG and this bot definitely does that.

I spent all weekend AFK in BGs and the only whisper I got was some dude asking me about that epic archaelogy 2H, I forget the name, I got it from arch bot, looks nice, I guess next time I will equip crappy gear so people dont ask me about it.
