Autoequip, more details

Well I'm currently testing the 1-60 questing profiles and its all working really great.

The only thing I wonder is if I somehow can choose what kind of items to equip etc with autoequip? I'm currently going for prot and its really annoying when he replaces sword+shield to equip a staff e.g.
 
Unfortunately Autoequip is a little limited in that regard, in fact, I believe the code that checks what you have in the <IgnoreTypes> tag is commented out, so you can't even add TwoHandWeapon to the types to ignore.

And even if you could, Autoequip still tries to dual wield when you can't dual wield instead of using a shield, and tries to put the better weapon in the offhand. Doh. :p

I've been considering writing a new auto equip plugin for a while now, since it's really doing my prot pallies no justice whatsoever. Maybe I'll get on that sooner rather than later...
 
You could use a loot filter addon and make it delete any staff that you pickup, that could work.

Still would try to dual-wield one handers (even without being able to dual wield) instead of using a sword + shield. :(
 
This is bugging me with shaman and dual-wield. It keeps equipping staves and 2-handers much to my disgust.

it was censored by CodenameG but as long as Autoequip sucks we can use it
and btw its great
 
Does anyone know if Equipshit picks the correct quests rewards for your char as well ?

Are there any plans to develop autoequip anymore ? To be honest it really sucks
 
I really like the support HB has. I really, really do. It's little short of amazing, considering what passes for support these days.

Happens to me too :/
 
Equipthisshit is very old. I guess it does not work. :(
 
I guess we're stuck with AutoEquip2 then.. If only it equipped Ranged weapons the right way :(
