auto angler safe?

Hey all, I know the golden rule, "Do bot what you're not willing to lose". I'm just curious if anyone has a general idea of how safe the fishing bot (I think it was auto angler 2?) is since the ban wave in May. I got a 6 month ban on my account back then because I was using dungeon buddy, so I got a new account in the meantime and I wanted to level up my fishing without, well, completely wasting my life waiting to right click on a bobber. Anyone been banned recently or know of anyone who has been banned because of auto angler 2?

It's built in now as FishingBuddy. I think the risk is about the same as before, but of course that golden rule is still in effect.
