yes indeed a new id, mr fishit by nesox, the standalone version was updated already. :)
 
If you want to fix it yourself quickly, you can do what I did and search for SpellManager.Cast("Fishing"); and replace the "Fishing" with 88868. So it would end looking like SpellManager.Cast(88868);. I have tested this myself and it works like a dream.

EDIT: This line is in the AutoAngler.cs file. Just open with Notepad.

Exy, i did edit that line and nothing happens when i press go.

Could you upload?
 
Same for me, edited the line like suggested, still does not cast...

Thanks for the quick fix. Works for me.

I went ahead and added random routines to pause a small random amount before clicking the bobber and also a slightly longer random pause before casting again. Looks as lifelike as possible now ;)
 
Can't get this working. Would appreciate an update or if somebody likes to share his working .cs file.

To integrate some delays to let it look more human is a great idea, btw.

The only problems I've had so far with the test version is that I get some cannot move to waypoint error message but I'm guessing this will get cleaned up as the meshes do...

Anywhere on these boards, you need to check profiles before you use them. It's common sense. Don't blame everyone else because you failed to do something simple

  • Will now cast waterwalking if swimming while in normal fishing mode, previously used only in pool fishing mode
  • Updated to Cataclysm
  • Added random delay in milliseconds before casting and before clicking bobber, adjustable from the GUI, default is 0

Thanks for adding the random part. I was just working on figuring out how to add it to the interface (getting used to the design) but you did it for me!

I'll work on adding more to the community later...

I'm discontinuing support for this project because I no longer have any interest in it
I'm including the Visual Studio project files in case someone wants to maintain/improve it.
You're free to rename, rewrite it or do whatever you please with it.All I ask is credit in there somewhere.
