Authentication Failed - CANT LOG IN

yeah servers down or bottlenecked, im finding the web server running slow aswell but could be coincidence

Having the same problem, I noticed it today around 12:40 pm PST. Can't log on to Log On - Buddy Auth Portal as someone else mentioned above either.

There is a group of hackers and some of them were saying in blizzhackers IRC that the auth server/nav server issues are because of DDoS attack by the hackers that want to pressure the DB team to move away from server side nav etc. Can any DB admin confirm these are DDoS attacks? I hope that the DB programmers can keep the server side nav and auth because I think they are better in the long run to protect the DB product. I think they are working hard on fixing this right now.

That's a DDOS defence. Wait 10 minutes, try again and then post the log if it fails.

I hope the DB team can win!!! Maybe add in IPv6 addressing/networking scheme and tons of randomized server addresses for your auth servers instead of just a few?
