Only solution is @ server side to block the incoming DDoS sources in the firewall.
I'm experiencing that also, but it's just a matter fo closing HB and re-open it. Keep doing until it re-connects.
You can't block a synflood with a firewall. It has to be filtered and null routed or spread across a large enough server farm (ProxyShield by Gigenet) to mitigate it. The whole purpose of a synflood is using spoofed ip addresses (Not real IPs). So theres no way to ip block it.
Furthermore they are DDoS'in one of my home connections in retaliation to me bombing the IRC server they control bots from offline. Soooooo... Apparently they haven't figured out I have two backup connections from other ISPs. lol... Yes I'm an internet addict.
It was funny tho. Went I hit the botnet that was hitting my servers the botnet hitting here stopped. So obviously you guys have some of the same enemies as one of the clients I host a couple dedicated servers for.
