Auth Failed

I'm using the "test" feature (for toons lower than level 20) and receiving this Auth Failed error.

I attached a sniffer and I think the problem is the Auth server "hb.buddyauth.com".

It's responding with AUTH BAD when I try to login with username "test" and password "t3st".

That auth server seems to be used with versions 1.9.6.2 and 1.9.6.3.

Version 1.9.6.1 seems to use a different server and still works for me.

Trying to log in with all the versions of HB available. Auth failes :(

And when I log into auth-page I get; "AUTH BAD"..

The password is not wrong as it's the same PW for the forums and the bot? I had to reset my password 2 days ago when I returned to botting, as I did not remember the old PW. Maybe that's the problem?

EDIT: After 20 minutes of guessing I found my old pw. So no need to take any actions.

FYi the password is not the same for the bot and the forums.
 
I made a statement with a questionmark, wich ment I was unsure.. But the problem is solved as I tried all my password combinations.
 
Tried using various versions, 1.9.5.9 and below say auth servers offline, 1.9.6.0 crashes and hangs on authenticating, 1.9.6.1 and 1.9.6.3 fail, 1.9.6.2 failed earlier but let me login just now, much to my suprise.

hb.buddyauth.com works. GB works too. None of the HB versions auth however. I'm not sure why attachments on the forums don't work either, when I try to upload the 'busy' swirly icon just goes forever and nothing changes/uploads. Logs all look something like this:
