Theres one on the realm i play, it undercuts really fast put like 5k Auctions in yesterday & everybody is undercutting eachother so Epic Gems, Enchant Scrolls etc are all lowering in price pretty fast, that's just in 3-4 days.

Yes and no. What the above poster said could be true but that doesn't last forever. What this plugin will do when its fully working is automatically buy out undercutters so that this very thing doesn't happen. For example, say you're posting/scanning wool cloth and set this at 20g/stack and say the normal price is 15g/stack on your server. Someone tries to undercut you for 14g this plugin detects it and buys him out. So you're still the cheapest at 20g/stack and this becomes the normal price for wool cloth on your server. So this plugin doesn't lower prices it raises them. Same basic auction house logic that gold making guides teach you and it works very, very well.



Lt.leon pmed me a good idea that I will eventually add to this plugin. Edited in Future features. Video is late I am having problems getting this plugin to work exactly the way I want it to which is why I'm not releasing beta yet.

There are bots trading the stock markets, and it doesnt happen there, so I dont see the issue...

Yeah, gold farmers have been using ah bots for years. And the economy isn't lowered by undercutters is it? In fact the auction house has gone up remember 30 silver/stack copper ore? It's 10-20g now on most servers. That's just an example. Plus, Imo its one of the least detectable bots. If your bot constantly gets past warden, you can use it 24/7 and nobody would really care. What players are going to look for bots in a 100 player + room? And even if they did watch you it isn't exactly uncommon for people to spend many hours on the auction house.

What kind of profit will you be looking at from the AH using this bot 24/7 per char?
 
Depends on what you farm, your server, and your ability to make gold. You can make anywhere from 100g a day for the absolute novice to 160k a day. It all depends.
 
Really looking forward to this. Please feel free to PM me if you need someone to test specific features, I've got a fair chunk of gold sitting around that I'd be willing to risk on this :)
 
It will make somewhat of an impact. I use a pretty ghetto version of an AH bot that relies on the quick Auctions wow addon. I undercut all glyphs within 1-20 minutes followed by a random time break between 30-50 minutes. This is not even that hardcore yet the impact it has had on glyph prices is real.

Before 80% of the market on my server was 25G and above, today 85% of the market is 6G and below. I do not care because I am making the gold up on volume over price, however I get hate mail constantly as well as whispers. Thank god for whisper notification features.
 
true, but even if this plugin got to 10,000 people and they were using it. What are the odds that were going to be using it on the same server? Same items? It can bring the price down I agree but it isn't a permanent change.
 
the argument is a moot point considering any legitimate player can get the same results with enough time. this is an automation product, what it automates is not relevant

I respectfully disagree, a normal player is not able to undercut once an hour 24 hours a day. I am able spread across 3 accounts, I own the glyph market on my server using a bot. Maybe a team of legitimate player's could take me down, but one single player can not. Unless you know someone who does not sleep for more then 60 consecutive minutes in a day?
 
Alright, fair enough there, but the majority of my point still stands. Someone who is available 12 hours a day (even just every 20 - 30 minutes) is still going to be able to negatively effect the market in a similar way - specifically if he and the majority of players are online at the same time.

I understand and to a point agree with you, but I don't think it really matters considering this plugin will still be available, ultimately.

Something very very ghetto using pvptool and quick auctions. A stripped down version of the profile is floating around. However i heavily edited it to use other addon's like bankstack etc etc and auto reload after 27 seconds on mailbox retrieve.Only reason it uses pvptool is for the built in relogger timer function, and I am to lazy to try and replicate it using honorbuddys API. Especially since other people are already working on it.

Anyway guys I am still having alot of problems getting buyout to work. At first it was buying things above what gold amount you set and now its just buying everything of that item on ah. Been working on this all day and quite frankly I'm stumped and sick of looking at it for the day. So i'm just gonna work on my gold guide and fart around with it tomorrow. lol.
 
So euhm, this is based on a standalone app right? How about posting that somewhere :p

This looks like something very nice by the way, with the right settings it could net you allot of money.

I dont think the majority of people reading this thread have any idea what they are reading or talking about, people constantly posting about the negative effect etc.... read and understand---

You have 3 bots on one server (would work better spread out but take it and run)

1: AH Bot
1: Herb/Mining Bot
1: Skinning/w/e farm bot

While the farm bots gather TONS of raw mats and DEables and flood the market making prices crash, your AH bot can basically SET the average market prices.

For example Saronite ore.... highly farmable, cheap as hell
approx 12-14g per stack on my server.
Set AH bot to post at 22g per stack and buy out ALL undercutters
You are now the cheapest on the AH at all times, at the beginning it will take a lil bit to set in, but after establishing **your** prices you will make almost double of what you would have if not for your AH bot.

Multiply this by how ever many items you are monitoring .... cha ching!

This addon/ whatever it will be is going to be the highest income bot you will ever see period

Stable-ising the economy your personal way... thanks for your hard work, donations are a for sure!

***edit... oh yea and you can do this with a lvl 1 toon! no more BS lvling toons just for farming! account ban... lol blow me blizz you can make enough money in gold in 6 hours to buy a new account!

Exactly what i've been trying to say. Thank you for that post. You posted the words that I couldn't find. To add to his point you could in theory use more than 3 sessions with other bots like mmomimic. or play 3 different servers at the same time. The possibilities are endless.
 
I would love to see this, if you get the urge to share it :) Maybe I could write a testimonial for you :p
