as anyone got high rank [ top 100 ] in logs with CR?

i am raiding in a mythic guild and i wanna know if the paid CR in store are good enough for mythic raids [ ofc you use cd manual and stuff ]
and has anyone here managed to get nice rank in warcraftlogs [ top 100 per his class ] with a CR? if so with waht class and CR?

In MOP i ranked top 10-20 on a few bosses using Tuanha's holy pala cc :).. How ever, i'm not PVE'ing atm so i don't know :3
 
I've gotten many top 50 shadow with Insanity and top 10 prot pally with Tuanha and Righteous for WoD. Requires high understanding of the boss mechanics and some manual play such as cooldowns, etc. Definitely need to know your class.

I'd like to know the same thing, only specifically in WoD.
 
Not done real raids yet, but GF ranked top 10 other day on LFR kargath bladefist as a druid healer, using Oracle 2
 
Back when PQR was around I was in the top 10 for heals and damage for my prot pally during heroic MV. HB isnt anywhere near as good but its still better than me stressing over getting my routine perfect.
 
i was in top 50 using Millz rotation as destro :)

in mop i was in the top 10 on my realm..
 
i'm top 30 warlock pve using millz demonic but i playing sometimes manually for best performance.
 
I got top 100 on my realm on my first mythic Kargath kill with Tuanha shaman cc.

I have ranked top 50 on all heroic and 3 mythic fights using nom's Fury Unleashed, but only as Gladiator spec. I have been using his CR for over a year now and ranked in top 100 on all fights in H SoO over the course of 2014. I've learned the following about getting exceptionally high ranks, which you may or may not find useful:

1. High ranks depend on many factors outside both your and the CR's control, including:
  • The speed of the kill. The longer your group takes to kill a boss, the lower your DPS and rank will be. The speed also works the other way by affecting how many opportunities you have to use major CDs. For example, if you kill a boss right before a major cooldown comes back up, you may miss out on a higher rank.
  • The awareness and competence of your tanks. If your tank constantly moves the boss in and out of range, you will miss out on DPS. The tank's actions are especially important on cleave fights (eg; brackenspore, twin ogron) where cleave uptime can have a major effect on your DPS.
  • Your group's willingness to try and help you rank on fights, by doing things like focusing on healing you while you DPS (when you should be avoiding a mechanic, for example).
  • RNG on mechanics (If you get targeted by arcane volatility every time, you will miss out on DPS).

2. Knowledge of your class, the boss fight, and the CR:
  • When did your trinkets proc? Trinket RNG can make the difference between an exceptional rank and a good rank.
  • What should be done for max DPS in a particular situation? What does the routine try to do? Is there a difference? You can leverage this knowledge to your advantage. For example, if I know the routine is going to use Colossus Smash as soon as it comes off CD, I should target something that won't die before the Colossus Smash expires, even if the mechanics suggest I should attack something else.
  • Manual control of a major CD may be necessary in some fights to achieve the best DPS (to align with trinket procs, a point in the fight where you can AoE, etc).
  • Figure out if you can use boss mechanics to your advantage. (eg; as a warrior, interrupt spore shooters on brackenspore for more DPS).

CRs can do a lot, but you still have to do a lot of work if you want to get the most out of them. Even then, there's a lot that will remain outside your control.

im not sure i can export and upload the settings file. the import function didnt work right for a while. not sure if its been fixed yet,
you need to remember, hb/cr controls some, but you just cant out of the box do that well. leaves1.webp

im running an incarnation build for this encounter for the mobility. i have the haste on-use trinket so i have a cd up every 20 seconds or so.
if you can play a druid, then this cr will enhance your skills. but even if you dont know druid, you will still get by.

Just wanna heal for my guildmates and friends when we do LFR/Heroic dungeons :D

for a hassle free spec, go with a sotf build. i have both specs for swapping between fights. you use sotf and doc. i hotkey wrath for my mana regen and for fighting boredom. with a sotf build all you have to do is stand still and spam wrath once in awhile when you get low on mana.

feline swiftness is nice because its low maintenance. however once you get to raiding competitively, you will want the on-demand blink of displacer beast.

sotf excels on butcher, brack, koragh and imp, but use incarnation build on kargath, tectus, twins. the cds are a pain sometimes because we tend to forget them while botting. sotf takes care of that.

another thing, sotf will eat your mana, so pair with doc for that wrath spam heals and mana regen. [wrath doesnt regen mana, but it pauses the cr and when you aren't healing, you arent using mana.]

always go with an incarnation build in dungeons. healing cds for pretty much every single pull. one thing, shroom burns mana, use it sparingly with low spirit.
