I have a question for Botanist or anyone else seeing great success with automating herbing/insript and vendoring shoulder enchants.

Is this math fairly accurate for a single bot herbing 12hrs/day at 250nodes/hr?:

Gold/day = (250nodes/hr)(3herbs/node)(12hrs)(1mill/5herbs)(2.7 pigments/mill)(1ink/2pigments)(1enchant/3ink)(18.75g/1enchant) = ~15k/day

So 250*3*12*0.2*2.7*(1/6)*18.75 = 15k/day

I should mention that I'm currently running a public profile and only pulling ~150nodes/hr and am getting even less than this, but if my math is correct from 12 hours of running you'll only get 15k per day per bot. Is the buying off the AH of herb stacks below 30g even more profitable than the farming of herbs itself somehow?

I'd like to switch to this to have more automation because selling things on the AH with 5 bots on 5 different servers is too time consuming for me, but I'm having trouble understanding how it can be as profitable as it's been made out to be in this thread.

If those of you making more than this don't want to share trade secrets totally understandable, I'm just curious in trying to figure this out.

Your math checks out. I pull roughly around 15k of pure scribe enchant gold per bot (which are pulling anywhere from 120-190 herb NPH), or around 100k per 5/6 herbers 1 fulltime scribe 24/7, plus Golden Lotuses and extra rare inks sold on AH. This is on a single, full server. I avoid using AH because it's too volatile and farmable goods as Ghost Iron ore non-liquid (try posting 5000 ores per hour). Who needs full guild tabs of ore if you can't get rid of it fast enough without any human interaction (and potential interest).

I am interested, however, in buying private, high NPH herbing profiles, so PM me if you know something.
 
I make roughly that aswell with 1 farmer, but I think it's not that much 10k to 15k a day with 1 bot.
 
Im usually gathering herbs for 8-12h/day and i get ~200 stacks of herbs in that time. I used to get more than twice of that amount pre-nerf. Herb prices are still the same 30-45g/stack on my server but ink prices are very good now. I've been selling starlight inks for 800-1000g stack now :)

Nah just HBRelog with my gathering profile and AH buddy, swapping every 3.5 hours. So auctions are constantly flowing and not a big amount on ah at a time. They usually sell pretty quick too so no problem there. The only thing is it takes time to mill/prospect 100 stacks, when the bot could be gathering.. see if the profit you make from shuffling is worth the time it takes to do it.
 
Yeah i just have Arelog Set 2 hours 20 minutes off then 3 hours 30 minutes off and in the time between i just do auctions by hand.
 
Im doing enchants at the moment as well as most people I guess...
Though I was wondering what's the best possible way to automate ore shuffle | would be awesome if there was someone able to help me - just message me

#173 - 2012/11/30 01:38:00 AM Mining and Herb spawn rates in Pandaria have been reduced by approximately 50% in patch 5.1, and this is indeed an intended change. These are in addition to the hotfix that was applied in 5.0.5 to lower the spawn rate of Ghost Iron.

In all of these cases, the reduction was prompted because the resources were too abundant, resulting in ore and herbs being undervalued, and also therefore the effort that our herbalists and miners put in to collect each node. We’ll be monitoring the situation, though, and should the current rates prove to be too low then we’ll make further adjustments as necessary.

on my server ghost ore 18g green tea 20g others 25g and frost lotus 650-750g per stack offc flask 800g stack if u woona buy a toons trilium bar 400-450g:D

Thx^^ But what profile do you use for this? because i know one profile wich milling and selling Starlight to ah and dream inks to shoulders>vendor but i dont know one profile wich make both of them(sell also ores received by mail). thank you for you answer. Sorry for my bad english...
 
Blizz say they nerfed the spawn rate of mining and herbing in pandaria, but i dont see it, my bot still fills my farmers bags in the same amount of time as pre-nerf so i dont see the nerf in action.
