Are you having DB issues? read this please

First, I am an old guy and we didn't have computers when I was in school so that sets me back even further so, I am not very good with computers and relatively new to DB. If You go to support and follow instructions it is pretty easy. In the beginning of my DB times I had issues and then updated Windows and DB started working. So read all the support suggestions.

WHEN there is an update from BLIZZARD for Diablo there will be 2-3 days of a delay while they fix DB. Don't even bother asking when it will be working again and expect issues for a few days. and more importantly when your having major issues copy your DB Key and then delete DB from your computer and download everything all over again (Fresh Install)

You need DB of course, trinity, autoupdater and Quest tools. ALL Mandatory to run DB. I think lumberjack is automatically included. These are all know as plugins and you MUST down load the most current versions. and unzip them in your profiles folder. IF there IS a trinity folder DELETE it.... then UNZIP trinity.

For a computer illiterate guy IF I can figure it out anyone can. My DB would NOT attack after it started a rift... I did NOT have the right trinity down loaded. I deleted the OLD trinity folder and unzipped the latest version and it worked.

I have 10k of each crafting mat Yellow blue and white and almost 15k souls. Pre patch I had every type of character completely geared except WIZ that could easily clear Ubers or T6 rifts. I also had a ZDPS WD and sader completely geared. I also at one time had over 200 of each Hell Fire machine. and 20 Bl in gold. SO, DB is great and does what it is supposed to do and we OWE everything to these guys who write code or whatever it is they do to keep us running.


for profiles go to https://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/demonbuddy-profiles/adventure-mode/ and find what youre looking for. these are profiles and get unzipped in your profiles folder. thats it it is pretty basic

okey......well, I do believe that most of the problems are user-related.....but this have gotten the developers to think that EVERY problems are user-related...

MANY are getting this error now after the latest demonbuddy update and it don't matter how good you try to explain it, the developers still have the routine answers. And even if you have attach a log, they will not answer you until you have attached a new log (even if it states the same thing)

I went back to the previous version of demonbuddy (didnt changed anything els) and haven't had this problem since. But no, not demonbuddy related at all..

DB guides should be updated in several languages (like they were at the beginning) and DB should be fully translated for better handling for foreigners.

Demonbuddy is a german product and its already translated to English, that should be good enough...

Don't be mislead by the overwhelming amount of negative threads. Try to remember for every guy in here bitching there are hundreds if not thousands of others who are doing just fine. There is no "accolades" thread, therefore all the news is negative.. That's what support is about.. the issues are displayed for us all to see so that most of us are able to solve our own issues. There is no substitute for experience, some are here applying it, others are here harvesting it. No matter how hard you try, you will never please everyone..

I don't know why OP said that, but I'm babysitting my db hour after hour right now. Everytime the bot can't pick up a leg from the ground, it resets the game and I receive this message "

I miss the days where DB were AFK'able...

Funny I see some of these posts and I am amazed at the odd issues i read about and being computer illiterate I can't imagine what I'd do if I had so many problems.

DB has been close to 100% afkable since I bought it and I have run DH, barb, WD and Monk all flawlessly. My friend just bought it and I request INV his DB accepts and I hit start on mine and the both run together rrrix rift profile and they both run afk all night. MF and exp bonus is great with more in game so it is a win win. I had another friend who runs his and all of us run pretty flawlessly.

For every issue I have had when nothing else works I copy my key from the start button delete everything re DL everything and it had fixed it everytime. I'll bet for every person with a problem/complaining there are 20 like me with no issues

For everyone that says the have to babysit their bot, you are doing it wrong. I run my bot literally 16-18 hours a day unsupervised and have no issues. Here's a few tips:

1. If your bot is seeming sluggish or just straight up error'ing and freezing... Install DB and all plugins/profiles fresh. Doing this really seems to fix most issues.
2. Auto-Updater sucks, period. I know it may work for some and not others but ultimately I used to have issues every couple of days and once i stopped using this so did the problems. I'm not saying how it makes my DB fuck up but it did so i removed it, trial and error with all my installed plugins and profiles.
3. Know what builds will work with DB. This is important. I even modify some of my skills/items to maximize my bots performance. Another good method it to look around for custom Combat Routines. They aren't always in the Combat Routing sub-section so keep your eyes open. Also, read about tweaking your own by reading the guides in these forums.
4. Getting Red Error text in your DB window isnt that big of a deal 99% of the time. dont fret over it if your bot is still running smoothly. It's not always gonna run perfect and its making your life a hell of a lot easier. Who cares if it misses some things or wastes some time. At least your not wasting yours grinding.

I have had my share of issues but I can run any class 100% AFK on T6 efficiently. Keep in mind, your bot having something like 30 death/hr is a problem, tweak avoidance settings or work your build more. Most of my classes get through T6 with 5 death/hr or less. I usually start it before work and come home to 3-5 pages full of legendaries in my stash. I'm considering taking the time to actually setup a proper guide on botting with each classe and the current builds to use for each and the settings in DB to accompany them but I'm lazy lol. Why else would I bot so hard? Let me know if there's interest in a Guide. Maybe enough interest will help me get my butt in gear.
