Before i started selling, i had 1300+. I thought that was enough. Just make some extra toons to hold the crap since we dont have enough stash.

I have all my slots (bought the extra with collector's edition) and my entire stash full. I am definately a hoarder, as I save any item that might some day become useful. Such as Mara's, which came in very very handy. Tragically I haven't found any of those since pre-ROS. So I'm using my old level 60 version for Ghom. How awful!? I am ~100% sure it isn't on my loot table, as it is, except for Wand of Woh and Starmetal Kukri (which are class specific, so it makes sense) the only item I haven't found. I have found 3 Witching Hours, 2 Furnaces, 1 Calamity, 1 What'sitcalledthatmakeselementalarrowgeneratehatred, 3 Tasker and Theos, 3 Frostburn Gauntlets, 6 Shard of Hates. 0 Kukri, 0 WoW, 0 Mara's. I rarely use my wizard though (lolshitclass) so WoW makes sense. Kukri and Mara's are complete mysteries though.
Frostburn and Rimeheart are good examples of items that I save, but will probably never ever (ever ever ever EVER) use.

i did the same thing i did in wow i made 1 of each class on sc and hc all lvl 70 and i always think im gonna need somethinng, i just salvaged at least 500-750 leg on hc and sc and i stil have some left lol, i just need to pick a class and use the others as mules i always get caught up trying to play each class and gear them lol
its pretty funny tho i just vendored about 20 bottomless potions on both hc and sc just kept 1 on each toon and 1 more of each kind in case i wanna switch them out

At 3,300 souls and every slot of the stash and 6 characters full heh....
I keep perfect multi stat mediocre gear or at least single perfect stat good gear. Actually destroyed a few perf damage perf main stat items because they still weren't good enough without a secondary function (IE nailbiter)

I play HC, my idea is to have 2 "near perfect sets" ie. my main would have the best on him, then the stash would have something one down from that. so basically if a hero dies, it just uses its old upgrades..
that way i have 1 almost perfect whenever its needed
eg. innas, mara, jade etc.

I keep one of every weapon that has a legendary affix on it. I upgrade it as I find another one. Now I have a bunch of perfectly rolled weapons so I can mess around with different builds and in case our upcoming content patch buffs any of them.
Basically how I tend to work my stash space is that every character is allowed to have one character sheet full of inventory. They store their own items when not being used, then as I play them I unload their items into stash as I play.

Stuff i do.
- create new toons
- segregate items (Main stat/Class specific) per toon
- If you have multi build, i suggest creating a 2nd toon
- utilize follower (if lvl 70)
- Create a screen shot of your toons inventory so you can easily find stuff you need
- do a bi-weekly clean up re ass if you really need items
- when you find something you already have check which one is better then salvage the other

I keep second sets and replace them as I find better. I kept most every soj I found, in total about 40 because as time turned and I had a 70 of each class I realized they were all useful in some way, but now all my chars have 20/30 SoJs with near or perf rolls. I just recently cleaned my mules, salvaged 30+ thunderfuries, bunch of shards of hate, sojs, follower tokens, old set items im not going to use because I have better versions waiting to be rerolled. In total I gained 312 souls from clearing it out alone and I Still have 2 characters full of stuff I kept(sets, hexing pants, perfect or near items). I have found every item in the game to date, It took me over 600 hours of botting my wizard to find a Wand of Woh but it was found. SMK I got just getting my WD killing MAlthael so he could run chests for gear. I currently have 3400+ souls now. I just finished my shotgun crusader build with his most recent upgrade was a 20/30 holy str soj rerolled RCR to 8% CDR first one ive found on him and it was perfect. I found a hellskull shield yesterday with 721str 8% CDR 14% heavens fury damage and an open socket that I promptly rerolled to 10% CC for basically a perfect shield. I am going to start botting my monk eventually I just need to get him past Malthael to be chest runnable.
With the removal of crafting item requirements I have managed to roll some of the best pieces possible, and the once 30k+ stash of dust/crystals and ~15k parts I had is now reduced to a minor 5-6k of each muled with anywhere from 3-4k crystal and 5k dust in my stash generally. Crafting items takes the biggest hit on salvage mats, but sometimes rerolling the simplest of items like ones that cost 16 dust or crystals but take 50-80 rerolls to get what you want is annoying as fuck. 50 crystals per chest reroll is equally as retarded. But Whenever I feel the need to replenish I just put my WD's pet gear on with a 2500DPS 10% demon dmg Sever and 19% demon dmg tyraels might with 14% FA dmg and run T6 ghom picking up all white/blue/rare on salvage for ~12 hours and usually Ill have another 2000-3000 crystals by then and about half that in dust as Ghom is usually always rare items 8/10 drops. The extra gold and exp isn't bad, Though the exp at paragon 721 it takes half a day or more to get a level. But who am I to complain! Back when I had so many hours of botting my wizard with no wand of woh and a full perfect fire set ready to go I was pissed one never dropped, soon as I got it was happy and played until my fingers got tired now my wizard is just a show piece who I am bored with much like the game. Hopefully the new patch can grab my attention back to play some more.
