Are we sure Blizzard removed the malware?

Did they removed it? Did you find something with tripware? I'm afraid about the launcher of battle.net so if you know something more please tell it

Malware was just speculation, there is no proof this happened.

Best advise anyone can give is bot an account you don't care about. Buy a new one if you can, the buddy team will have done all they can though to make sure it's safe if that helps?

Dont BOT on same ISP, Network, Router etc. as your main computer and main account (if possible)

With all of the above...you will still risk getting banned....there are no garantees...there never was...there never will be!

We have always had daily reports of multi-botters being banned. Today is no different. While I am sorry for your loss, its not evidence of anything more than business as usual in the Blizzard Account Admin department.

To OP: we do not know how the banwave happened. The first rule of botting is that if you are going to be upset about losing your account, don't use a bot. Keep it in mind

Reading through the Ban Forum it also looked like a few people were using the same battle.net account as the one that was originally banned. If u wanna test it out make a new battle.net account start a trial account and bot level a bunch of lvl 20's and see what happens.

Im botting on the same battle.net account with an alternative bot, and having no problems. Being using it non-stop since the banwave. I think Blizz are focused on HB and signature patterns of it.
