Are unfreeze codes some what safe?

Anyone had their account locked from using an unfreeze code? I have a friend that used it and got his account locked shortly after. I'm just asking bcuz I need to get one of my accounts active for just 10 mins without getting it locked and then going through the hassle of calling blizz to unlock it. Any info on this? thx

Yes they will work for 10 minutes. Longest I've had them work was 3 days then removed.

If it's the first time you use one then no. If you use them repeatedly then yes.

they didnt lock my account when i used it, i think they use buy them on stolen cards since "Unfreeze Codes" don't exist.

I used to use them on two mule accounts. Account one occasionally had proper time added to it since I used it for storage of some items and account two never had proper time added to it. I think it lasted 11 unfreeze codes before it was locked. I haven't bothered getting it unlocked since I could access gold on another account and I haven't botted in months now.
