Are there any plans for improving the performance of the website?

Currently it's horribly slow which makes the whole experience a lot less appealing.

I hope you can fix this very soon.

Since it's slow in the mornings too I guess it depends on a database overload that you should be able to clean up.

According to a reply Hawker sent me on a very similar posting the forums are undergoing a DDoS attack, and the staff are trying everything they can to stop it, or at least mitigate it. Hawker stated that it will take some time to fix though, so he's asking that we -- as a community -- be patient and allow them to do, and try, everything they can to solve the issue at hand.
