Are combat routines needed for levelling?

Hey guys

Im new to HB and am just trying out all the features, i see these CR's are used to add more effective use of skills.

Are these something I should be using for levelling? (questing 1-90) or are thes just for raiding and instances?

Singular is a combat routine that works pretty well for most classes/specs and comes bundled with HonorBuddy. I recommend getting started with this and a DPS spec to keep things simple, and if your toons act wonky, try installing one of these fancier ones to see what jives best for you for leveling. Some of these support questing (the ones that have movement included), but many of them don't work too well on lowbie toons.

ok thanks it seems fine so far from 1-15 using singular.

I just wondered when i try it on my main in pvp if i should use anything different

It would probably be a good idea to use a different CC for your main, yes--look for one which says specifically that it's for use in PvP or BGs in its post. Might not hurt to try Singular too, it might surprise you. Try different CCs, watch them (or use LazyRaider) to see if they do what you want them to do. PvP is more nuanced than PvE so don't settle until you find a really good CC.
