Archebuddy not updating properly

I am getting all sorts of errors, despite running the bot fine with a three day trials about 2 days ago. Ultimately, it just fails to download.

Edit: it fails to download at download updater.exe.zip. The download saying downloading updater.exe, stop, and creates an updater.exe.bak and an updater.exe.zip (which i cannot open.) What do I do?

Are you sure that antiviruses dont block new updater? Try also delete anything except updater.exe.zip,close AB updater and unpack this file manually

i am always traveling around china, and the internet here hates AB. i always have to use a VPN to update AB but this time my vpn expired and i couldnt update it. thanks

I have blocked all of my antiviruses during the updater, and when I delete everything besides updater.exe.zip, and unpack the file, it just starts from the beginning of the download, and does the same thing. What I have noticed is that it fails to unpack the updater.exe. The downloader will try to unpack it, then create updater.exe.bak and there will be a temporary updater.exe that appears for maybe a second then goes away.

I had the same problem last night. I tried for two hours to download the updates and db.db kept getting stuck at random mb and then it would say download incomplete or something like that. I tried and tried I got aggravated with it and then just went to bed. I don't even have antivirus installed on my computer and I turned firewall off to test and still didn't have luck. I had to wait till today when I got up and it worked fine.

Something with this last update you gave us messed up the CollectItemsAtFarm method it will no longer pick up items. I started a thread about it.

I seem to be having problems with the db.db file as well. I can try several times over several hours to run AB and it keeps crashing at random points in the download of that file. Is there maybe a way to launch AB without running Update.exe? I would really appreciate any help on this as it's getting really frustrating. Thanks in advance for your help guys.
