Updater keeps failing to donwload but i keep running it and then it works
 
Fails to download every time.

Managed to download it.

Not a valid win32 application ><

Thoughts ?

What OS are you running?

I'll assume Windows7:
1. right click updater.exe and click on Properties
2. click Unblock (picture included)

3. right click updater.exe again and select Run As Administrator
4. when the window comes up asking if you want to run the program or not click yes

I have the same problem as zhentilar and I followed your steps, but still get the same Error message

McAfee is detecting this as Artemis Trojan. I never had this problem with HonorBuddy, what's going on here?
 
When installing it tries to update and fails like a concrete airplane while trying to download db.db.
I disabled my Antivirus so it ain't that. Hell, I even tried installing it on another computer.

At least I only wasted 1€

I downloaded Updater.exe but when i run it and as administer it crashes and attempts to send a windows error report, using Windows 7 64bit

Thanks out! I thought i already had the most recent .net installed but I was wrong hehe :D it is running now ^^
 
When I try to run updater now nothing happens, Ive tried everything suggested in the thread. No antivirus .net updated and changed properties. Help please

Any errors\messages?
 
Failed download - Insufficient permissions.

Tested in chrome & Opera with & without running the browsers in administrator, all firewalls/antivirus disabled.

Tried changing folders and tried saving everywhere. Wat do?

Edit: Restarted computer, works now.
The easiest fix is often the best fix.

Edit2: It seems to automatically delete itself, and then when I try to download it again I get the same error. Failed - Insufficient permissions.

You launch updater.exe with with admin access?
