Archbuddy flying back and forth in a very short distance for hours.

Not sure why its doing this, seems like its getting confused as to where it wants to go. I have it set up so that all the digsites except dwarf are blacklisted.

and dont black list all Dig sites, because if all 4 dig sites Get no dwarf, you dont have luck, probably bot will stop :D

If you blacklist everything except Dwarf and you get no Dwarf digsite, then HB/Archaeologybuddy will select the closest one. It will not stop.
 
agreed. any ideas as to why it would fly back and forth real quick???
 
My first guess would be that all dig sites currently up are blacklisted and dont know where to go.
If not that. Then I would have to say my bot has done this before as well. Mostly when its dead and trying to rez. I woke up one morning to it buzzing back and forth over its corpse for 5 hours.
ONLY blacklist ones that you are having trouble with, not just because you dont want that fragment anymore. Simply put you need to dig there to make ones you do want spawn.

Is this the first time this happens?
Start fresh, redownload both HB and the CC (fresh folder and everything) and past another log if it happens again.

I ment that.
There are only 4 digsites that come up at a time. When you dig at one, get all 3 digs. Another digsite spawns, or comes up somewhere else. Its a give and take. You dig one, they give you a new one.
Its random on which new one you get. It might be dward, troll, fossil. what ever. So say you only want one of them, you dont need the others. But in order to keep getting the ones you do want. You will have to keep digging the ones you dont want. Just to get them out of the way, to make the ones you do want spawn. Over time the 4 available dig sites will all turn in to ones you dont want.

Like for me I have the 2 digsites in twilight blacklisted. The bot just simply dies too much there. So over time those 2 will come up. And the bot now only has 2 digsites available for it to dig in the whole eastern side. Not very many options now. I just cut my digs in half. So when can I manually dig there just to get rid of them. Turn bot back on.
I'm not very good at explaining things sorry just trying to help.
 
Thank you for the information and the response it is always helpful. Even if I have spots blacklisted it should still go there. I have seen it do this often it says all sites blacklisted going to nearest site and starts the dig. The idea behind it was to make it a priority to dig dwarf before all the others when it pops up. So say 4 sties are blacklisted it goes the the closest one and then a dwarf pops up, i want it to go to that site first before it goes to any others.
