ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot

Soo, I'm very glad the new sites are working but now with these stuck issues traveling from site to site in EK, when can we expect a fix? It's not afk friendly at all, I actually came back after a couple hours of drinking to find my mount havin a seizure near the shore line while trying to head to red ridges fossil bank.

sad face.

Just a minor point, but Fragment ID 1135 could do with a little better positioning. I'm sure it could have it's loc changed ever so slightly to stop you falling down and into the water. Wish I had looked and written down a better loc while I had the chance though.

does this AB auto train your next level of archy?... writing this it occurs to me I'll probably find out for myself long before I get an answer.

well I currently manage the Ringo trainer plug-in... but the problem would be getting the plug-in to stop, and go back to org or sw or what have you to train..... I'll look into this... maybe I can make it hearth back to train.

Just using this plugin for the first time today, and i'm having a problem with the whole solving thing - the problem being it doesn't solve at all.

It says:
[ArchBuddy v1.1.0.219]:Solving "Ironstar's Petrified Shield"

But doesn't actually cast anything or do anything else. It just sits there until i manually solve it and then it continues with what it was doing (looting the current site or mounting for the next site).

Looking in the debug log, there are no errors to report from there.

Also, when going from Twilight highlands > Arathi it tries to fly across the sea getting the fatigue debuff, one the debuff pops up the bot flys directly upwards and then just spins around and around as whichever direction it moves the debuff returns.

This is all using the latest HB .4129.

Make sure you have all archaeology plugins disabled(Archy), it could be interfering with the LUA this bot solves with.

I had a two part question.....

Has AB been directed to auto-train arch yet??

What does "use keystones when solving" option do

I get this bug.

Starting the bot!

And that just goes on forever.

Dismounting at one of the positions in Nek'mani Springs digsite always causes the toon to get irrecoverably stuck in the water.

Bugtracker 831 contains the full description and appropriate screenshots.

cheers,

What does "use keystones when solving" option do

i just asked the first question if you only read a few posts up.. and got told no already... as for the second... Keystones are things like scroll of the highborn... they let you finish some artifacts faster.

Much like the bug where it would get stuck between Azshara and Mount Hyjal flying back and forth, I found another place where it does this with the new HB 4129. Logfile has been attached, though I doubt it will do any good.

This is when flying to Ruins of Arkkoran-- it tries to fly straight up until manual interaction. Take note this is directly before a fatigue area.

Let me know if this is any help, as there is at least one other one I have encountered, I just didn't make note of it.

EDIT: I just noticed it does this when its about to encounter fatigue. Did this when exiting Twilight Highlands to head to Arathi Highlands. I think it's a coding mistake, but it's better than dying over and over from fatigue! :)

I noticed that if I restart wow and honorbuddy when encountering the spinning in the air bug while trying to navigate the coastlines, that AB will work again for a couple of hours before running into the bug once more.

Not sure if anything can be done on the user's end to prevent this but this seems to be the major flaw in this release and I'm positive once fixed that AB will run like a charm in atleast EK.

Exactly the same thing happened to me last night in Kalimdor, in Feralas to be specific. This morning, I found my bot just spinning around in the air near the Feathermoon Stronghold trying to reach the inland, at least I think so since it just dug out the digsite on the island and was about to proceed to the next one. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a screenshot or log since I was in quite a hurry for work, in case someone encounters the same bug as I did please report it so devs can take a look at it. I'll try to reproduce it as soon as I get some free time.

Btw devs, can anyone tell us all, since I believe people really want AB to start working properly for a variety of reasons, when will the new digsites be fully supported and are you even working on it or trying to resolve other bugs at the moment?

It doesn't create a debug log but it seems when it gets to the coast it reads unable to create path then starts the auto stuck function but i would like to know when a afkable version will be available cause it's annoying to have to check on the bot ever 5- 10 mins

There are some problems with the dig site "Ruins of Khintaset".
Often my toon will head into the area where there are packs of 20+ mobs walking around (you blow these guys up as part of some daily). Meaning this is not afkable, as once you get there he keeps rezzing there as well.

The range for this area needs to be fixed.

Also I dont know if this is a HB problem or a AB problems, but when dead, it doesnt use the flying mount.
