ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot

i dont know if this has ever been mentioned.

but would there be a possibility to do "perm blacklist" i mean, i have a situation when i blacklisted all digsited but the troll ones (darn sword) and when there is no troll one available it flies to the closest digsite which very often happen to be Twilight Highlands.
ofc my toon cant handle groups of 4-5 mobs and it just keeps dying there

so, yeah, can i somehow make it skip this whole TH area?
 
I think it was that an option such as taht would be in a future release, maybe the next. Personally I stop at 445 Arch and farm troll frags to avoid opening twilight etc xD.
 
Wish I would of did that. I fuckin HATE twilight highlands. However, I love the bot. I am getting glitches as well, happened alot last night my character going AFK, not killing mobs, casting survey 100 times. Then when I stop and start the bot it says something about a string not loading and Archaeology Bot - Empty Profile. In order to fix, I have to restart WoW and the bot entirely. I've did this approx 5 times last night. Other nights the bot worked flawlessly though. :/
 
hey everyone, I got a little bit of information that might work for you. Found off wowhead in spells>secondary pro>arch was the world destroyer sword from gathering..well..this might explain it better than me. Taken from wowhead no credit goes to me.


"If you are going for this sword there are a few very important things.

Grind Eastern Kingdoms only. Save all Troll fragments and Keystones.

Get to 375 with Dwarf, Fossil and Night elf fragments you find in E.K. and then STOP SOLVING.

This will ensure you get the maximum fragments per dig (up to 6 per loot) but will avoid getting stupid/annoying sites in Vashir etc.

Once you have thousands of troll fragments, solve your Dwarf, Fossil and NE and skill up to 450.

Then cross fingers and profit :)".

Hope you all profit from this. Its what I am gonna try to do so I can get that cool kick ass sword to trade between toons. Take care and safe honor.

PS. just started using this AWSOME bot. Works as sweet as my first motorcycle, a dream come true. LOL!!
 
Uhmm... has the download been removed?

I found it in the honorbuddy release.

Hello guys,
I am new to this whole HB thingy, but after spending over 150 hours in Archaeology, I decided to start looking for a bot ... lol.

I have some questions about the ArchaeologyBuddy, if someone would be kind enough to answer:
1) How good is the ground version compared to the flying version? Anyone can give me some approx. on the XP/Hour from Mount vs Flying, or their total sites digged per hour for each?
2) I see a lot of people talk about the LifeTime, is it the GB Lifetime? Because I can't find the HB one in the purchase tab
3) Is it safe to use? Or are there good chances that Blizz will find out and ban our accounts?
4) Is there a way to make the bot auto-relog?

Hi there Damikaz

Remember, this is only me, and my opinion.

1. I wouldn't use it, unless it was the flying version. And the flying version fucking pwnz!
2. "Lifetime" includes 3 sessions (you can use the following combi: GB/GB/GB, GB/GB/HB, GB/HB/HB and HB/HB/HB" - you pay once and you can use it however you want. :)
3. Are you talking about HB/GB in general or just about ArcheologyBuddy? If ArchaeologyBuddy; I would say it's very very low (if useing flying mount) due to that it doesen't really get stuck anymore nor have any bugs (beside if you get in combat and the mob dosen't attack you) - In general HB/GB is pretty safe to use; IF YOU TAKE CARE OF IT. There will always be a chance to be banned. Mostley due to reports from other players.
4. Yes, there is auto-relog plugins atm (beta versions though)

Just as a follow-up to this (great answers)... Don't use a bot program with an account that you cannot loose. There's always a chance that something may happen and Blizzard could ban you. Nothing is guaranteed 100% safe.

1. I haven't used the ground version but if you think about it, 290 is about 3x as fast as 100 mount speed and you have to add the fact that ground mount has to follow roads where flying flys straight to the site, that will add alot more time on as well.
2. GB lifetime comes with both HB and GB so that is the Lifetime needed for this to fly.
3. it is as safe as you want it to be. The safest is to not use it, if it some how becomes detectable by blizzard and they have a ban wave then it's not safe at all. But to me I think that archeology buddy is the safest because it's doing something that is hard for players to recognize as botting and report you, well unless they see u trying to survey and the bot gets stuck and keeps doing the same thing over and over so watch the bot if your scared to get caught and don't afk.
4. I do not know of an auto relog but if you find one let me know :-)

But to make sure, if I want to use the flying version, I need to buy the 80 euros version? Also, I'd only use archaeologybuddy because this is what is making me lose my soul lol, I have fun doing everything else but that, however... Zin'Rokh... Ya'll already know :P So for ArchaeologyBuddy specifically, are there some tricks I could do to avoid being caught?

You absolutely right about the lifetime and price.
About being caught — I use AB about 2 weeks and only once i get a message from GM, but it was early at the morning when i woken up and answered it. He said that this was a fault and he'll never worry me again.

I might be pretty damn stupid, but I can't find a download link nor attachment in the first post to download. Can't find anythng but HB and GB in the downloads section either. Am I just blind?

They need to make a big bold AB IS INCLUDED WITH THE LATEST VERSIONS OF HB on the OP.

There isn't a download link on this post, because the newest AB is in the latest HB release.

AB now comes with the new HB so just download that and you'll have AB
 
Hows EK working now? I've stuck to Kalimdor for all my archeology, but might as well clear out some troll/dwarf ones if I can pretty much afk safely.
 
Are there any mesh folders or something to make dig site searching/pathing faster? ty!
 
where can we get the latest update? the newest AB is released later than the latest HB if i look at your edit dates for the thread
