ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot

on another purely cosmetic note. How would I change which flying mount it chooses when it is traveling between digsites?

General settings, Mount name (then type name of mount you want to use, I use random (grabs like 4 random flying mounts i have and randomly picks one.)

So, I am running 3 bots currently. And one of them is acting up.

Bot 1 (Paladin): ArchBuddy
Bot 2 (Mage): GatherBuddy2/InstanceBuddy
Bot 3 (Paladin): Nothing is working for some reason. I'm trying to do an ArchBuddy/InstanceBuddy and all it does is run around, kills things and loots them (no options anywhere to no have him do this, other than unchecking 'Kill between Hotspots'.

I tried ArchBuddy/InstanceBuddy on the Mage and the other Paladin, both work fine. I've tried restarting WoW and HB several times, including a computer restart, only this one Paladin is having the problem. Attached are the log.

try deleting your settings files for that char under HB/Settings
 
Would it be possible for this bot to use teleports like the Dk's Deathgate, the Druid's Moonglade Teleport or the Mage's Capital Teleport to get around faster ? Or even use the Hearthstone if it's closer to the digsite ?
 
Why do I have to blacklist digsites every time there is a new release, surely we all know what digsites suck ass and should be blacklisted automatically. Or even a list of digsites that suck ass on the first page of this thread, Should stop 25% of the posts that clutter this thread.

Scorched Plains Digsite in Mt. Hyjal blacklisted. Area brings up 'cant generate path' errors.
 
is the Eastern Kingdom fixed? i have been having glitches with fatige. Need to start cramming dwarf ASAP
 
It would be awesome if we could set priority. For example. Troll > Dwarf > Fossile > Nerubian. I know it's possible to blacklist by type, but then I risc having the bot go rampage in the Grim Batol digsite ^^
 
Still having same issue with no support.

Issue:

After clearing a digsite, character will simply stand there afk "loading tiles". If i manually mount him and go up into the air 1-2 yards, it "resumes" and flies to next area and clears it normally... And then gets frozen again until i remount.
Essentially i have to manually mount character after every 2-3 digsites.
Same issue on two different computers with two different wow accounts.


Also, less annoying but still annoying. Bot will not fight any enemy mobs if attacked during survey/looting artifact. Thank god for ghoul.

Edit: another issue, forgot to add. Bot will ONLY use albino drake. No matter what settings i choose, no matter if i put mount automatically or manually, if i check random mount or not. Bot always uses ONLY albino drake.


Edit 2: Okay, this is magic. Had this issue for more than a week now. Then i post this message, log into game - and its working like a charm, not doing anything i described above. First time ever.
Either HB support team has loooooooong hands, or thats one insane coincidence. Ill keep you updated.

Several things you could try here, first make sure you are using the latest version, try a different CC and third - delete your settings directory and choose new settings when the bot starts up again.
 
I just noticed that while running AB if there are mobs within aggro range the bot will not target and kill them. It just runs straight into them. This is not a problem in low level areas but in TH & Uldum it is a problem. This should really be fixed. It not only hurts your botting time due to deaths sometimes but it looks extremely bottish. No player is going to run straight into mobs.

Is there anyway to let it automaticly go to uldum even if there are other digsites closer?

Seems like a CC issue.. not AB. Use a different CC.

Interesting, guess if I go according to your response that means that ShamWow, Amplify Mage, and FPSHunter are all no good. Those are the ones I have been using.

unless they start adding a out of combat distance check on possible aggroing mobs. I don't think AB has a pull or pre-pull routine in it but I could be wrong.
 
Got my Zin'rokh at about 5am today after using AB to farm for it! Farmed for 4 days straight so keep your head up if your still on the hunt! Thank you to all who have taken part in development!!
