ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot

the only message i have third tab is

Downloaded tilemap Kalimdor
Changed tilemap to Kalimdor, Tiled: True

that's normal, bot don't move
But i doubt i was the only one to have this issue the first time runing the arch bot, there is a lot of non lifetime users reading this post, come on guys said what u done to start the arch bot after the first insallation
what setting, where u start the bot, etc...? i'm sure i doing something wrong.

Do i need to start the bot where there is a dig site on the map, or i can start the bot anywhere i want (at ach lvl1) ?

why each time i restart HB i need to unchecked this option :

bot don't save setting of the last use ? it's the only option not save
Do i need to put my ground mount icon on a bar and slot ?

no, why to start the bot with full inventory when u know u will take a lot of items ? :p
and no this option is not checked.
 
Raphus i am sure i am running all English clients. It worked with the first beta version of the of AB but when you let out the 2nd version that came with the new HB it has never been able to land in a dig site. panYama took a look at my settings and logs and watched it through team-viewer and couldn't see why it was just sitting in the air outside the dig site. I just thought of something though. The only thing that has changed on my PC since the first beta version is that i installed the PTR. Could that have something to do with it? And if so then why would it only affect AB?

Where you start the bot doesn't matter. I've started it on a location, near a location, inside a building in Orgrimmar, etc, etc. Now yes, I'm a Lifetime member, but there have people here that have said they have it work (ground mode) just find without being a Lifetime.

The "Use Flight Paths" option doesn't matter if it isn't moving anywhere. This is a base navigation issue somehow.

Can you put up SS's of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd log tabs after you've let it sit for a minute or two?

I'm talking about a separate issue. And if you run the bot for long enough, your inventory will fill up. It happens.
 
Raphus I noticed it has sometimes trouble getting into a digsite so it will try to unstuck a lot, is this due to meshes problem (so do they need to be redownloaded) or due to AB?

760K/Hour at level 82.
And it does Survey smarter than I can do myself.

really nothing more than i already showed u
bot don't use my ground mount and just stand where he is.
i choose ach empty profile, but do i need to go profil tab and click "my position" button before starting the arch bot ? i never use HB to grind only for BG, so dunno ?

I am almost starting to think that its to high in the air to detect the landing zone. I dont have to take it all the way down to the ground after it gets to the dig site. I just have to take in inside the boundary and down some to get it to to land and survey.

Edit: nvm after some more trouble shooting it appears to just not fly close enough to the find where it wants to land. On my last dig site it flew into the boundry of the site but still just sat there untill i took it in further.

Oh god Hawker, please tell me you meant 3400 Fragments, and not Solves. I am at 200 Solves now and starting to get crazy X.x

Besides that, how did you manage to let run Honorbuddy overnight? Mine will not run without Problems, maybe with this version, but with the older versions it would get stuck or bug out, in clear words never run without babysitting it for more than an hour.
Any tips on how to bot best with AB to get Zin'rokh as fast as possible? Thanks in advance!

Allrounder plugin make :

- arch bot
- pvp bot

don't work
 
I love the new version, its AWESOME! I love how it goes directly instead of taking a path, BUT it seems to bounce up and down a lot,, it would be alot faster to stay at one altitude.
 
For anyone wanting it to prioritize race sites just blacklist all the ones you dont want by race and it will skip them if for example you only want tolvir sites it will skip all the night elf troll and fossil digsites then when you have no tolvir sites up it will go to the nearest digsite available till another tolvir site pops up.

When I do this it seems to go to the sites that where hard coded blacklist like the Ruins of Khintaset digsite and will just hover over the digsite not doing anything. Testing right now to see if it will skip this behavior if I just blacklist that site.

There you go. That's one of the main reasons people suggest that you disable all plugins in HB when you're having an issue with something specific like this.

I'm glad you finally figured out what it was.
 
For some reason when he goes to sell to a vendor it will not fly there. It will only walk along the ground.

That's because it goes back to default HB control for movement/pathing and HB doesn't have integrated flying yet. That's specific to this bot.
