Seems to be a myriad of different tools and plug ins people are using to get banned but one thing seems to be the same. Anything that either sends a response to the Archeage client faster than a human could or, at set intervals is being detected. I do not think AB is being detected. I think that they are tracking stuff like this.
There is no way a human can turn in trade packs as quickly as some of the plug-ins do it off of a farm cart. Same thing for creation etc. Maybe they are tracking the GUI window actually opening. This would explain how Auction house bots could cause bans as well. If you are sending information to the client either too quickly or in a timed method, they are flagging you...
Anti afk type stuff sends timed responses
Of course getting reported can get you banned as well. I never had the bot debuff and was at the keyboard the entire time I ran any plug in and I got hit like everyone else. I used fishing occasionally, trade pack plug ins, and AH plug-ins. I used the AH stuff a couple weeks ago and not recently.
A method to randomize timed events would possibly increase the chances of not being flagged. Might be worth testing...
