Anyone notice.. something strange with Nav system?

I remember while using this public 70-80 profile it was all smooth in dragonblight.. but now-a-days it seems to get stuck everytime it dies near dragonblight and spawn in the tower.. it will fly to the 2nd floor, get ontop of the ledge then try to fly down or get stuck between teh walls..

ive notice a lot of small things as well and it seems the nav system is getting sort of 'confused' as time goes by..

human factor of aging in computers? nah..... or..

Yes, I've noticed lots of small issues with the Nav system.

There are numerous times when it should walk from Point A to Point B (no LOS issues, no objects in its path), but instead it decideds to take a scenic path.
 
Doubtfully since both of you know what you are doing, but is "Alternative pathing" (or whatever it was called) active?

I've noticed runs would get stuck, behave oddly or plainly freak out when that box was ticked.
Switching it off helps in some cases (alike the running from the rock into the deep in EotS for example when this is switched on).
 
I get mixed result with it on and off. On a whole, I've noticed a degredation in the efficency of the navigation system.
 
Last version I ran was 1.9.5.5 so I'm behind a few versions :)
Have to wait a week more to be able to update it all and test last versions (then I'm home from work again).

I also noticed posts about that some parts not been properly meshed.
Maybe it would be a good idea to have the meshbot or whatever is used rerun the world and upgrade/update where needed.
 
Here is the most common navigation issue I have.

The path I would have taken is in blue. The path HB took is in black. I'm constantly seeing navigation issues like this, it takes the long way around.
 
I have also had similar issues.

Something similar to the pic above.

There is a clear path from A to B, nothing in its way.
Instead he does a zig-zag till B, or goes to a C then D to get to B.

yeah there is a new verison out. too bad 10 or so people can't use it due to a stye navigation error which has yet to be resolved
