My main still isn't banned that has been actively botting for months and has dodged the previous banwaves. Doesn't mean it won't be, but it isn't as of now.

I take zero security precautions. People on these forums have proven time and time again that there's absolutely nothing you can do other than being lucky that will keep you protected from a banwave.

me including 15 ppl i know got hit with 6/18 month bans today so i guess no survived this wave

no clue I keep missing these ban hammers.

I don't bot like I used too. I multibox bot here and there, I do some pvp here and there, I take a few months break every month just because I find wow gets boring quickly and there are so many different games out there that just aren't wow.

Plus I like to get out of the house now a days and go airsoft.

The questions are answered. No, no relogger was used. No, taking zero security precautions means exactly that. I sit down, I turn on wow, I turn on the bot, I hit start, watch for about 2 minutes to make sure the bot is doing what I want and I walk away.

If you think renaming processes is going to protect you, you're in a for a rude awakening.

And yes, it is completely down to luck.

its clearly not luck, there must be something in your system that you may or may not know about that blocks detection inadvertently if you know about it or not.

is it because a certain plugin was detected that we were all using, addon etc.. You only get answers by asking questions.

That's the funniest thing I've read on these forums today...And there's been some pretty funny things posted.

I have been botting up accounts with Dungeons and RAF. I lost 1 today out of 10. The only account that I lost was my level 100 that I was using to boost the other accounts. All accounts were running HB, so apparently there is data metrics that helped to indicate who should be scanned. My only thought is that the other accounts didn't have but 50-100 total kills, and were literally XP sponges, so there was no evidence to use against them.

I will not be logging in the other accounts, just to be safe, but there is the details on my situation.

did you use combat routines on your main that got banned? to get honor kills..

almost as funny as your post count.

What a silly argument...

I know you're upset you were banned, but at the same time, grow up.

You got caught botting. If you can't live with the consequences from your own actions, you shouldn't have botted in the first place. You can sit and say the bot was detected and its not your fault...That's simply not true. You chose to bot, even after 3 previous banwaves where the bot was clearly detected.

You can ask for all the information in the world. It still won't protect you.You either get caught or you get lucky. That's all there is to it.

Every bot I am running is fully automated. I just log in and let it do its thing. I do not use a relogger, or rename processes. I do move the HB folders to the root of the drive and only grant access to an admin account, but that is just a data security practice that never changed from the old days.

One odd occurrence was that the last few days WoW.exe has been acting outside its namespace, and my machine killed it immediately. I attributed it to a poor server transfer routine on the Blizz side, which resulted in crashes, but it may also have been the program trying to access data logs on the workstation that also had their permissions denied. This is purely speculation and cannot be backed up with any data, but it was interesting, so I figured I would mention it.

yes

I was botting last couple of days 24/7 and all of my 4 accounts are still alive, so I guess, I got lucky, and the fact that this was a delayed ban-wave.

everything points towards plugins ie combat routines! Just helpful to know.

Plugins are NOT CR's. There's a very clear distinction between the two with this bot.

And there's absolutely nothing at all that points to CR's being the issue. There's far too many CR's out there that are programmed in different ways to say they are the root cause of the problem.

And how's it going to help you? You know that the bots detected. How will knowing if people that only used CR's got banned protect you in the future, especially when you already know that a detection occurred?

The only answer that is going to help you can only be provided by one company...And they've never made a statement on these forums and they never will.

C'mon, ryfto, he's right. Your post count is funny, you gotta give him that.

He got caught botting because BanBuddy is detected, we all know it is. And nooo, silly ryfto, you weren't just lucky and fyi blizz don't just do:
Code:
srand(GetTickCount());
int decision = rand() % 11;
if (decision >= 5)
{
	BanAccount(account_id);
}
else
{
    // ok, account lucky.. lets not ban
}
