Like the game for me got to a point were i couldnt even be bothered botting rofl
 
same here. I won't even appeal my ban. Why would I. I would never play this game without HB anymore. The last few weeks I didn't even bot anymore, I hardly logged on. There's just nothing to get from this game anymore, literally nothing. I somehow feel like Blizzard has given up on the game as well. Nothing else would explain their fail and lack of interest (obviously) since WoD release.
 
Like I was super hyped for WoD, played MoP... WoD comes smash it out with mates, we all quit after 4 weeks of Mythic, honestly them banning me saves me 6months of sub.

Love Blizzard, but seriously I don't give a single crap and I won't even attempt to appeal, I only started playing again cause work mates raid, but yea I got to 100 and cbf'd gearing up.

I would just bot garrison thats how much the game bored me rofl, couldn't even be bothered botting anything else lol, was no point.

I feel you. I was SO excited for WoD... and I never got disappointed so hard. First time in 10 years that I lost interest in the game. Basically Blizzard took the final decision from me to say good bye to that game. I should write them a thank you mail. :)
 
This might sound crazy but being banned and losing so many toons hasn't really made me feel sad or upset in any way due to the fact its only 6 months and it can all be redone. I havd only been levelling these toons for something to do in work and if we get a bot update I'm just gonna use one of my four battle chest keys and do it all again :')
 
I do hope Blizzard realize what this mean, 1.5 million accounts banned... Why would people bot, maybe cause its boring?

Yeah my 9 year old account got hit and i couldn't be bothered. The only thing that irks me bit is that I just renewed my sub last week. Last time i played was in January.

lmfao you summed it up perfectly, I was pissed at first because right before I got banned someone troll whispered me saying "reported" for no reason and I got banned, I mean I was honestly kinda trying to force myself to get back into it, but honestly Im with you, I couldn't even be bothered to put the bot on to to things anymore, and I couldn't get on to play without the CR because health issues, but I'm not really mad, Im happy that I finally have a reason to quit honestly, Wow has owned my soul too long now.

WoW owned my soul, I've been slowly picking at it, I guess its been released for probation for 6 months, Thanks Bossland for the work as well, the bot is amazing... Even if you guys are with this, it's ok, we loved you.

I knew blizzard knew I was a botter for a long time, hey, I even transferred a character, they told me it got refunded and they decided to reprocess it for free, I personally think Blizzard f$#ked up, though if you look at it, thats 1.5 million accounts that will probably resub in 6 months time, just in time for the post expansion patch.

Bravo Blizzard, and I hope 6.2 is a disappointment, cause that current 5.6mil subs will be 2mil before you know it.
 
I really thought I would be affected negatively by it on two levels ... As a player for losing my characters of ten years and as a community developer that (for now) won't earn anymore money. I don't really feel bad. I haven't "played" WoW in months.

I used my accounts to test my profiles and manage my garrison. That was it. And as a developer ... I just knew that things like this could happen. The minute I got banned, I fired up Unity and worked on my game again, so why would I feel bad? I have been addicted to this game a few times in the ten years I have been playing, but it really does not have that effect on me anymore. When a new HB version gets released I'll just resub my other dormant accounts and develop with them. The only thing I won't do anymore is botting on my main account. I know it is now flagged and I know the next offense might be a permban.
 
I haven't played WoW since 2010ish, but I have been botting on and off ever since then. Now, I had 12 keys going strong making a few hundred euros per month for me, in my extra time. I lost my main account, but what concerns me more than losing the account is that HB is down atm and I'm stuck lvling my 12 new bots using competitors products. The main account only had characters with maxed professions and some old epics, that's it.

The banwave brought a good thing with it: a LOT of gold was lost so the demand and price for gold skyrocketed.

My main bank was safe because it was isolated from the botting computers/IPs so I'm sitting at around 2 mil gold for sale on high pop EU realms. Will wait about 2 weeks at least to dump it, the price might even get better :)

So no, I don't care that I lost 13 accounts, but I am upset that HB is down now and I'm stuck on using competitors products to level my new bots :( #bringbackHB

I knew for a while that they were on to me as well, I would get D/C's and random game crashes the last few weeks (within the timeline that's been speculated that we were scanned) Ive botted for close to 4 years now, and I have a backup account like I said before but the game isn't engaging enough, its been developing for 10 years and they still don't know what they are doing, I'm looking for a new game all together, It says a LOT about a game when this many people are botting, people just can't be bothered to level/farm/do all the other mundane shit they want us to believe is "content" I was really excited for timewalking to be able to try that out, but it hardly seems worth it even If I can hardly be bothered to even bot. :confused:
 
I feel more embarrassed than anything, like I got called to the principal's office to get yelled at. :) I was barely using the bot lately, just logging in to do garrison stuff. Thanks for the enforced vacation Blizz.
 
Been botting for a while and still not banned, mostly rep and mounts stuff, some fishing and archeology as well.
When I first started botting I was like "this game isn't that fun to me anyway, if you ban me, I might as well just quit".
 
Not banned, won't be upset if I am as I wouldn't play without a bot at the moment. Nothin left I want to do manually.
 
I, unlike many apparently, don't really care either way.

I used HonorBuddy to take the tedium out of some of the more mundane tasks in WOW, and occasionally on raid progression where there was a particularly difficult mechanic that took some getting used to, at the end of the day- I knew I was breaking the ToU and I was okay with it. One day, I would be caught and that would be that- That day was yesterday. I actually enjoy playing WoW, well- I really enjoy still fucking around with my friends that also play WoW (who don't use HB, but use SoapBox, Wrobot or other similar bots instead and aren't banned- yet). The Bot was pretty instrumental in my willingness to help out friends do fun and exciting things like Blast Furnace Progression, Getting their first Blackhand kill, or anything else that resulted in dying in spectacular fashion to dumb things for an hour or more. I never really got into PvP, nor did I really automate anything, I actually enjoyed the casual content, exploring the world, etc. etc. so the 'haha fuck you cheater' crowds excuses for how we were all destroying their beloved game didn't really apply to me.

Did I enjoy my time using a combat rotation? Sure.

Will I be just fine without it? Sure.

Am I mad at Blizzard for finally catching me 'cheating'? Nope.

Do I think this is the end of botting in WoW? ROFLMAO, absolutely not.
 
I dont really care ... it felt like a chore to do anything anymore and I hadn't even finished LFR with any of my 100s cause it was just tedious. What DOES bug me is that I couldn't get to the page to cancel my subscription or even change it. I had to delete my card off the account just to stop payments. That just irked me, cause I'm not paying 15 a month for a service I'm not getting. I have D3 and Hearthstone and DayZ and now Salt and Subnautica to entertain me, but I'll miss my friends that I leveled lowbie characters with.

Also, I appealed (very sweetly and respectfully as well I ain't even mad) ... and they didn't even have the courtesy to even say "Yeah we saw you botting" ... I got a "Greetings!!" and then This action taken blah blah and check out our TOS this matter is now closed." and absolutely no explanation to anything at all. At least some of you have gotten an actual response :-\
