I am atm making a PB profile for a fully automatic profile for mining + engineering for professionbuddy, but am not sure how much work I should put into it. Would anyone be interested in such a profile?
EDIT: As some ppl would like to have a look at it already in its unfinished state, I am here uploading it. At this point, it should take you to almost 250 in engineering.
Please note that there are some settings. You should check them out before starting the profile. It doesn't matter if you've already picked up the professions or the tools before starting. If you haven't, this profile will do it for you. The only thing you need to make sure is that you don't have OTHER professions learned, as this will not unlearn them (duh). At the top of the profile you can see a list of mats. These are mats that it will go and buy at AH if you don't have them already. I've set the max price a little high, so if you want to run it smoothly, make sure that your toon has gold. If you don't want the bot to buy stuff on AH for you, you can buy all the ingredients that are listed in green in top of the profile and put it in the bank. Then set the setting "Mats in Bank" to True and it'll pick it up from your bank instead of buying it at AH.
I just figured that I haven't said this before. But this is alliance only atm.
If you run into any issues please let me know. Give as many details as possible as I'm not able to replicate the problems atm (since I'm at a higher lvl in engineering myself atm). When the profile is done I'll test it on another toon to check for problems myself (and look for reported problems).
Positive feedback is also welcome as it gives warmth to my heart and makes me wanna continue projects like this
Btw.. When it's selling stuff it takes a while. It'll open and close the vendor frame like 20 or more times. This is expected behaviour so just let it do what it's doing. This is the only way I can control exactly what it's selling. I might add a workaround for it at some point when the profile is done but it'll take alot of time to do and is not high on the priority
In the latest version of PB, the author added something called Sub Routines. This is making the work alot easier for me, and will make the profile better + easier to understand if you want to make something like it. I've added sub routines to my profile but haven't been able to test it at all. If someone would test it I'd be grateful.
