the more i sell via RMAH the more i get a bad feeling about the squishy legal position of item-selling.
You know, we are not talking about 10? or 250? each month...

If there is anything i can do to keep my money-transactions save in the next months (even years) i would be glad to hear about it.

Is there anyone in the demonbuddy team able to explain if and why RMAH sales are save?
I mean, probably 99,99% of the botting-community isn't even THINKING of taxes and the tax authority. And i am sure 100% handle RMAH income (whyever) as tax free.
I think the worst that can happen is a light punishment when someone reports me to the tax authority and a subsequent tax-payment when the tax authoritiy got me in his target. But that's only my point of view and i don't have a clue about austrian internet law.

Anyway it's a bit weird when i got my next settled day with my bank employee talking about my financial situation... I mean, i know him since many years and due to paypal-income i have heavy and frequent paypal income which maybe leads to some questions... ;) (of course he is bound to bank secrecy)

Do you pay out every now and then or do you sum everything up and pay out 1 time per month? Am i the only one thinking about this topic when D3-business is going fine?

greets

i would really like to know that too...im a bit afraid
i often read that after 2,5k income, paypal will need a id from u ....but if they give this informations to the tax authority..dont know...
anyone has some more infos? :D

verifying your paypal after 1,8k € is no problem. already done it 3 months ago.
I don't think paypal is allowed to give informations about the transactions to anyone else. But this is what i THINK. I cannot swear.

From what I know from Dutch law is that transactions bigger then 10k are reported by the bank to the tax authorities. Anything less and they won't know unless they start digging. I already verified my paypal, but that wasn't a problem at all.

*hm* 10k.
can anyone confirm this?
10k with ONE transaction or all together in a lifetime? i assume the first point, but thats no problem :)

Of course austrian law is different to dutch law, would be interesting if austrian law is more liberal in this case.
Thanks anyway for the input.

Dont transfer to bank, use PayPal to pay for stuff online ;)

flat rental? foodstuff? Cloth? not that easy... :/ used to pay this stuff from my bank acc, not possible via paypal...

useful topic right there, if anyone got some info about Italian laws from this point of view - share, please.

hi
Im from germany and I have founded a company (Kleinunternehmen) after talking to a tax advisor. You can get really BIG trouble with the "Finanzamt" when you have a big constant income with botting. After you founded such a company you are able to earn 17k ? in the first year without paying "Umsatzsteuer" (50k? in seccond year). You also have to find a way to stay under this amount because the "Umsatzsteuer" would be 20% of your income in addition to your normal taxes. Of course you can try to dont pay anything and dont get cought, but the laws here in germany are very hard in this cases. Not comparable to other countrys. If you have some questions you can pm me.

edit: Dont transfer the money from paypal to your bank doesnt help you. Some years ago paypal was classified as a bank. So they forward income to the "Finanzamt" in the same way a normal bank would do.
