Anyone got banned yet for botting?

I mean we see this question popping out often.

But has anyone gotten ban for botting, ever?

Yes, on WoW. I 24/7'd for three months non-stop, make a couple of million, called blizzard up and complained that I was banned, I was unbanned again... then I sold the account.

One person on this forum has reported a ban using demonbuddy.

he probably got reported for botting from a friend / recently played player ..
or got banned for using another unsecure bot before botting with db..

i also got banned BUT not with demon and that was the usage of a bot which ends also with buddy but was in beta.. botted for 1 day, then banwave came and i got banned..

bought a new account, bought DB and botting since it came out, no ban yet and nearly 24/7

Same here, all my friends bot 24/7 .. and we're still running full speed.

But the guy who got banned had multiple friends on his playlist. Potentially played pubic games too.

His name is Madcow or Maddog or Mad-something and he uses the same email/nick for both BuddyForum and Bnet account, wouldn't be surprised if fanbois and vigilantes targetted him down.
